Eychenne Busts Weis

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

European grinders Oliver Weis and Thomas Eychenne were sat next to each other on table #429 and got into a preflop scuffle.

Weis opened to 16,000 from under the gun before Eychenne made it 40,000 on his direct left. It folded back to Weis, who jammed for around 130,000. Eychenne snap-called.

Thomas Eychenne: AK

Weis was dominated, and was sent to the exit after failing to connect on the 86684 runout.

McCullough Makes a Royal Flush on Middleton

Sanjeev Bais and Mario Colavita exchanged raises from under the gun and early position to see the former all-in and at risk for around 160,000.

Bais' pocket pair remained best following the 97455 runout.

Just moments earlier, Travis McCullough pulled off an even more unlikely double-up against Tom Middleton.

McCullough told PokerNews he was all in for roughly 40,000 when Middleton looked him up in pursuit of a bounty chip.

McCullough tabled A10, while Middleton revealed A10, leaving a chopped pot as the overwhelmingly likely outcome.

But the KQK flop, gave McCullough a freeroll and a royal flush draw. The dream J peeled off on the turn to complete the royal, rendering the 6 river irrelevant.

Crushers on #448

Level 15 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Mario Colavita opened to 5,000 from early position but quickly released his hand when Lawrence Robinson moved all in for 69,000 from the big blind.

While those names may not jump off the page, Table 448 is packed with talent and has quietly become one of the toughest tables in the room. Jon Kyte, Roberto Romanello, Alex Keating, and Tom Middleton are all seated together, making it a table few players would be thrilled to draw.

Fung Continues Hot Run

Level 15 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Altynai Fung is running like Usain Bolt with a tailwind, already having compiled eight bounty chips.

In this hand, Sal Jasani raised to 15,000 under the gun. Christopher Walters made the call form middle positions.

Fung raised to 45,000. When the action got back to Jasani, he moved all in for his full 74,000-chip stack.

After the floor needed to be called on whether Fung would be able to raise, Walters and Fung each called.

The flop came 94A. Walters and Fung checked.

The 9 hit on the turn. Walters checked again. Fung bet 75,000. Walters folded.

Sal Jasani: JJAll in
Altynai Fung: AQ

Fung had already jumped ahead in the race and the 8 didn't slow her down.
