Alexander Sokolovsky under the gun opened to 16,000 and Christian Roberts in hijack three-bet to 48,000. Not to be outdone, Sokolovsky four-bet to 112,000. Roberts called.

The dealer spread 8♥5♠A♥. Sokolovsky bet 25,000 and Roberts, visibly perplexed, called.

The 5♣ turn dropped and Sokolovsky check-called Roberts' bet of 65,000.

On the river 2♥, after action passed to him, Roberts shoved all-in for around 400,000. Sokolovsky took sometime considering his options, taking some minutes into the dinner break.

He finally folded conceding the pot to Roberts.
