Rheem Knocks Down Kim

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Pyeongkang Kim opened from under the gun and Chino Rheem called from the big blind.

The 4JJ flop saw Rheem check-call a 250,000 bet from Kim. A 6 turn saw both check to the 2 river and Rheem bet 275,000.

Kim called, Rheem tabled his 55 for two pair, which was enough to see Kim muck his hand.

Sebastian Schulze Eliminated in 9th Place ($44,840)

Sebastian Schulze

Sebastian Schulze was down to his last 410,000 after just doubling up Marco Johnson. Action folded to Schulze in late position and he open-jammed for his entire stack, putting himself at risk of elimination. He saw only one call from Johnson who was sitting in the cutoff and the pair were sent heads up again to showdown.

Marco Johnson: AQ

Schulze was behind, and the 6Q5 flop just saw Johnson improve. There was no coming back from Schulze after seeing the 8 turn and he was eliminated as the dealer placed the 8 river card.

Both Foxens Have Big Stacks Deep in Separate WSOP High Rollers

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Alex Foxen Kristen Foxen
Alex Foxen Kristen Foxen

The Foxen family has 10 combined bracelets — two this year. For now.

That number could increase to as many as 12 on Friday as both high rollers — Alex Foxen and Kristen Foxen — were deep and big-stacked in separate events at the time of publishing. Both future Poker Hall of Famers (maybe this year for Kristen?) have already won bracelets at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

But they're looking for more, and to chase the WSOP Player of the Year award.

Jaka Ups the Pressure

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Faraz Jaka opened to 240,000 from under the gun and Pyeongkang Kim called from late position. Kenzo Ishida also defended the big blind, taking the players three-ways to the K87 flop.

Both Ishida and Jaka made quick checks to Kim who bet 350,000. Ishida made a quick muck of their cards and Jaka raised to 925,000.

Kim checked their cards, looked at the board and also opted to give up the pot.
