Srivinay Irrinki

Kenzo Ishida open-jammed for 16,000,000 from the cutoff and action folded around to Srivinay Irrinki who had already lost nearly half his stack by posting the 240,000 big blind and 240,000 big blind ante. He was left with 500,000 behind, not yet committed to the pot and he checked his hand and moved his stack in to call.

Srivinay Irrinki: A4All in
Kenzo Ishida: J7

Irrinki was ahead pre-flop but after seeing the JQQ flop, his luck looked like it was running out.

There was no more help on the 9 turn, and the J river saw to his elimination in fifth place, taking home $133,170.

Ishida Slows Down Johnson

Level 32 : Blinds 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

Kenzo Ishida opened the action with an under-the-gun raise and Marco Johnson defended in the big blind. The flop of 847 checked through to the 3 turn, where Johnson led out for 520,000. Ishida called and the 9 fell on the river.

Johnson bet 880,000 and Ishida bumped it up to 3,100,000, prompting Johnson to go into the tank. Johnson eventually flicked in the call, only to see the bad news when Ishida tabled KJ for the flush.

The next hand, Johnson raised to 960,000 in the small blind and Ishida called in the big blind. The flop came QQQ, Johnson bet 480,000 and Ishida called, bringing the A turn. Johnson bet 840,000 and Ishida called again. Johnson slowed down with a check on the 8 river and Ishida elected to check back.

"King high," said Johnson as he tabled K2. Ishida turned over 33 to take down the second pot in a row.

Vamerdino Magsakay opened to 500,000 from under the gun and Marco Johnson called from the hijack.

Vamerdino Magsakay: KQAll in

Three-Way Action Leads to Largest Pot in High Stakes Poker History for $2.4 Million

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Santhosh Suvarna

Alan Keating won a record $1.4 million pot last year on High Stakes Poker. But that hand, despite being worth more than most Americans make in a dozen years, pales in comparison to a three-way pot during Season 16.

The first eight of 11 episodes of the new season are available right now exclusively on PokerGO. There are many High Stakes Poker veterans such as Jennifer Tilly, Andrew Robl, and Justin Gavri mixed among recreational players like comedian Kevin Hart. And there's even a recent World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner in the mix — Santhosh Suvarna.

Santhosh took down the $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em for $1,992,870 on June 11, and then lost back $1.1 million of it the next day in Hustler Casino Live's Million Dollar Game at the WSOP. But he was in a strong position to win a pot worth far more than his MDG losses during Episode 6 of HSP.

Dinner Break

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

The remaining players have been sent on a 60-minute dinner break and will return at approximately 8:40 p.m. local time.

Action will resume with blinds at 120,000/240,000 with a 240,000 big blind ante.

Elliot Smith Eliminated in 7th Place ($75,390)

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Elliot Smith

Kenzo Ishida opened from early position to 400,000 and Elliot Smith took around 30 seconds before he moved all in from the cutoff.

Ishida stood from the table, said "All-right" and moved a stack in to call.

Elliot Smith: K10All in
Kenzo Ishida: AJ

Smith needed to pick up, but there was no help on the Q67 flop. There was a small sweat of the backdoor flush draw and straight draw for Smith, but that came to and end after the dealer placed the 8 turn and J river.

Players Picking Their Spots

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Srivinay Irrinki raised to 400,000 in the hijack and Vamerdino Magsakay three-bet to 900,000 in the cutoff. Kenzo Ishida thought for a moment before folding in the small blind. Faraz Jaka quickly mucked in the big blind, and Irrinki folded as well.

The next hand, Magsakay raised to 400,000 in the hijack and Marco Johnson three-bet to 1,300,000 in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Magsakay, who went into the tank. Eventually the clock was called and he surrendered his hand.
