In the battle of the blinds, Cameron Widergren opened for 130,000 and big blind Eoghan O'Dea defended with a three-bet to 450,000. Widergren, thought for a few seconds before announcing all-in for around 750,000 and O'Dea instantly called.

O'Dea was ahead with ace-high on the 8♠7♥3♦ flop. Widergren became a bit hopeful for a double up when the K♠ turn pushed him ahead. All his hopes were dashed when the A♣ river fell giving O'Dea the higher pair.

Widergren left the table as O'Dea scooped the pot.
