Win Some, Lose Some

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

One hand after celebrating hitting a full house on the river to double-up, Michael Hubbard found himself in jeopardy again.

This time, he pushed all in from the small blind, raising an initial bet from Karanvir Singh, who quickly made the call when the action got back to him.

Michael Hubbard: KKAll in
Karanvir Singh: AA

There would be no repeat riverboat for Hubbard. Singh hit a set of aces on the flop, and the full runout of A5436 ended Team Hubbard's tournament run.

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Breno Drumond made the call. Singh folded.

Breno Drumond: 88

Drummond was ahead in the race, then ran way out front on a flop of K8K, which gave Drumond a full house. But the turn and river were still to come.

The turn brought a third king K and the river a J to pair with Hubbard's jack for a bigger full house. That ignited a boisterous celebration with Hubbard and teammate Mark Egbert.

Team Zuidema Reaches the Next Pay Jump

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

After Brandon Zuidema from Team Zuidema committed most of his stack preflop from the small blind, he took as much time as possible on a flop of 6KK in an attempt to survive to the next pay jump. He checked, and Jonatas Roger Freitas from Team Freitas bet 5,000 from the big blind. After another long tank, the clock was called.

“Three, two, one… dead hand,” the floor announced as Zuidema tossed in his last 5,000 chip to call. Although Zuidema believed he had acted too late, the floor ruled that his chip crossed the betting line before the countdown expired, so the call stood.

Brandon Zuidema: A4 All in
Jonatas Roger Freitas: A8

The 107 runout completed the board and Zuidema's team was eliminated.
