The hand was picked up with Roman Korenev four-bet shoving an all-in into Joseph Monaco, who had raised on the button. Monaco quickly made the call.
Roman Korenev: A♥K♦
Joseph Monaco: A♦A♣
Korebnev started packing his things when he saw the aces. By the time the runout of K♥6♠2♣3♣3♠ was complete, he was ready to walk away.
There were roughly 250,000 chips in the pot on 4♠5♥Q♠7♥J♦.
Team Irvin who was in the big blind had put themselves all in for 177,000 from the big blind. Team Chen who was on the button went deep into the tank then called.
Team Irvin tabled 7♠3♣ for a pair of sevens but could not beat the top pair of Chen who tabled K♣Q♥.
Kaifan Wang of Team Wang in the big blind was all in and at risk on a flop of 2♥8♥10♦ against Ying Zhu of Team Li in the cutoff.
Kaifan Wang: 9♥7♣
Ying Zhu: J♥10♣
Wang didn't hit the straight he was looking for with the A♦K♥ runout and his team was eliminated.
Team Stone raised to 20,000 from under the gun, Team Li clicked it to 30,000 and Team Wang called in the small blind. Team Stone tanked for a pay jump and put the rest of their 8,000 chips into the middle when they made it.
Action checked to showdown as the board ran out Q♠7♦3♣K♥2♣. Stone Announced, "ship it!" and he tabled Q♣9♥ then scooped the pot.
Jacob Stone raised to 16,000 from middle position. Ruben Correia, raised to 52,000 in the small blind. Stone four-bet to 105,000.
Correia made the call.
When the flop hit 8♠Q♠6♣, Stone bet 50,000. Correia called.
The turn brought the 10♣ and as soon as Correia checked, Stone shoved all in with 312,000.
Correia went into a deep tank for more than six minutes. There was a pay jump bubble involved, but the decision wasn't easy.
Finally, Correia slid chips forward to make the call with a slightly smaller stack than Stone's.
Ruben Correia: J♣J♠
Jacob Stone: A♣A♥
With but one card to go, Correia needed to spike a jack to get the win. The J♥ was brought on the river, a devastating blow to Stone's stack.
"Nice hand, sir" Stone said as Correia stacked all of those chips that used to belong to him.
"Nice hand, bad call," Correia replied.
The action was picked up on a flop of 2♠9♣3♠ after Bernardo Neves from Team Neves in the hijack called a bet of 69,000 by Preston Mcewen from Team Mcewen under the gun.
Both players checked the 9♥ turn leading to the 7♦ river where Mcewen fired a massive 420,000, more than the average stack.
Neves went deep into the tank and eventually made the call with A♥K♠. Mcewen only had A♠J♣ so Neves scooped this massive pot.
