Michael Mizrachi Leads Loaded Field Into Day 2 of $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship
An action-packed day awaits at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, as the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) welcomes back the field in Event #70: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship.
As expected, the championship attracted one of the strongest fields of the summer, with 729 entries generating a prize pool of $6,789,000. When all was said and done, 270 of those players bagged chips to return for Day 2. With late registration still open through the first two levels of Day 2, both the field size and prize pool are expected to increase further.
Leading the way, Michael Mizrachi enjoyed the most productive day on the felt, with the reigning Main Event champion bagging 946,000. Mizrachi is chasing a ninth WSOP bracelet, a milestone that would make him just the eighth player in WSOP history to achieve the feat.
Sitting closest to the chip leader, Joseph Liberta spent much of Day 1 among the front-runners and heads into Day 2 in a strong position as he looks to capture a second WSOP bracelet. Just behind him, Steven Sarmiento rounds out the top three and is aiming to claim his first WSOP title.

Among those hoping to reel in some big points for their team are Jesse Lonis (344,500), Justin Liberto (343,500), Andrew Lichtenberger (294,500), Josh Arieh (270,000), Dylan Weisman (260,500), Jared Bleznick (235,000), Shaun Deeb (135,000), and Erik Seidel (125,000), just to name a few.
Day 2 gets underway at 1 p.m. local time with blinds resuming at 1,500/2,500 and a 2,500 big blind ante. Ten 60-minute levels are scheduled for the day, while late registration will remain available through the end of Level 12, with the registration period expected to close at approximately 3:15 p.m. local time.
