On the first draw, Mullins took two and Griffin opted for one. Mullins checked it over, and Griffin slid in a bet of 25,000. Mullins had set the trap, and check-raised to 100,000, only to see Griffin go all in for 276,000.
Mullins went deep into the tank, but after a solid two minutes of consideration, he stuck in a reluctant call. The players then patted to showdown.
Mullins showed 8x7x6x4x2x for a weak eight, and the table couldn't believe the hand that Griffin showed. He held 9x9x9x6x6x for nines full, mentioning that he thought the game was double draw. The table looked on in shock as he left the tournament area.
