Jaswinder Lally and Rob Hollink went to the river on a completed board of A♦10♦8♥9♣10♠ when Hollink bet from the big blind. Lally then called in the small blind.
Hollink turned over A♠K♠8♦3♦ for two pair, and here is where controversy erupted. Lally tossed one of his cards, the 4♥, into the muck and opened up A♣Q♥J♠ for a straight. A tournament official had to be called over, and it was ruled that since Lally would retrieve his mucked card, his hand was still live and he was awarded the pot with a straight.
"Nice slow roll," Hollink said as he was left with just around 10,000.
"That's wild," tablemate Jason Riesenberg added.
