Ding Fan bet on fifth street, and Michael Boik called. Fan fired again on sixth street, and despite making an open pair of kings, Boik still called.

Deeb Catches a King to Bust Germaine

Level 17

Seven Card Stud

Shaun Deeb bet on fifth street, Jack Germaine raised all in, and Deeb called.

Germaine showed 99A78 for a pair of nines, while Deeb had 210KK10 for kings and tens. Germaine found the A on sixth to make aces and nines and take the lead, then caught the 4 on seventh. Deeb turned over 8, but his last card was the K to give him a full house and send Germaine to the rail.

Scott Seiver

Seven Card Stud

Before the first hand of bubble play had been dealt, Christopher Kay lost his last chips to Scott Seiver in a hand of stud.

No one else was eliminated during the same hand, meaning Kay officially became the bubble boy of the $1,500 8-game.

That concluded the hand-for-hand portion of the tournament.

Kessler KO'd on Soft Bubble

Level 17
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

No-Limit Hold'em

Four eliminations away from the money, Allen Kessler raised to 8,000 in the cutoff, leaving only 1,000 behind. Joseph Ritzie then put him all in from the small blind, and Kessler entered the tank.

"I'm afraid you have ace-king," Kessler admitted.

After about a minute of thought, Kessler decided he could not fold getting twenty-to-one, and he called off his last chip.

Allen Kessler: AJ All in
Joseph Ritzie: AK

"That's really annoying," Kessler stated as he watched the K7938 board knock him out of the tournament. He wasted no time jumping into Event #75: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo, which just started a few minutes ago.

Joe Breaks a Winner as Heimiller Triples

Level 16

2-7 Triple Draw

Dan Heimiller was already all in from under the gun as Michael Balan and Dean Joe built a side pot on the first draw.

Heimiller and Joe took one, while Balan drew two. Joe then bet on the button, and Balan called in the cutoff.

Joe and Balan each drew one and checked the last two draws, while Heimiller stood pat. "I paired," Joe said, and Heimiller turned over 9x7x5x3x2x.

"Ah, man. I broke an 8-7," Joe said after seeing Heimiller's hand.

"That might've made me the money," Heimiller added as he tripled up.
