Harder Makes Quads to Bust Phillips

Christian Harder completed, Tyler Phillips raised all in, and Harder called.

Phillips showed 652, while Harder had JJJ. "Let's chop it up," Phillips said. He ended up with 53K3 for two pair, but Harder made quads with JQA6 to win the pot and send Phillips to the rail a few spots off the money.

"All poker hands lead to sadness," tablemate Jacob Irvin said.

Banks Triples His Crumbs

Kirk Banks was all in before the second draw from under the gun. John Evans then checked the big blind, Calvin Anderson bet on the button, and Evans called.

Evans and Anderson each drew two cards, with Banks taking three in between. Evans then led out with a bet, quickly folding out Anderson.

On the final draw, Evans remained pat.

"I've got a convertible eight," Banks stated as he weighed his options.

After about a minute, Banks decided he could not break and patted 8x7x5x3x2x.

"You win," Evans said, and showed 9x7x6x4x2x for the losing hand.

Jorge Ufano took two on the first draw and Yuanting Wang one. Wang then bet from under the gun, and Ufano called in the big blind.

Both players drew one and Wang bet again. Ufano then raised, and Wang called.

Both players stood pat and Ufano checked to Wang, who put out a bet. Ufano folded this time, and Wang took the pot.

He still checked it, and so did Germaine. Caiaffa tossed in another bet, and again both opponents called. Seventh street then checked to showdown, where Deeb's eight-low and Caiaffa's two pair, kings and fours, chopped the pot.

Catching the action on fifth street, Jason Stockfish bet with an open pair of kings, and Felix Truelle called. Fu Wong then raised, seeing both Stockfish and Truelle call.

The action checked to Wong on sixth street. He bet, and Stockfish and Truelle called. The same occurred on seventh street for Wong to show a seven-low.

Stockfish was hesitant to show, prompting Truelle to table queens-up to win the high half of the pot.

The flop came Q29 and Deeb bet 6,000. Kay then raised to 12,000, and Deeb called.

The turn was the J and Kay bet another 14,000. Deeb again called to see the 3 river, where Kay bet 12,000. Deeb instantly tossed A6 into the muck, and Kay showed him the Q as he took the pot.
