Negreanu Retakes the Lead

In a limped pot to the 873 flop, Artur Martirosian checked and subsequently called a bet worth 600,000 by Daniel Negreanu. The 10 followed on the turn and Martirosian check-called for 1,600,000 before checking the A on the river.

Negreanu asked for the size of the pot and then made it 4,500,000 to go into a pot of 5,600,000. Martirosian tossed in a single chip for the call and was shown J1093 for the nut straight by Negreanu, who leaped back into the lead and turned the tides since the start of the heads-up duel.

Negreanu then potted his button and Martirosian called. They checked the K102 flop to the 9 turn on which Martirosian's bet of 1,600,000 won the pot once again.

Martirosian limped the next hand and Negreanu checked to the 776 flop. Negreanu check-folded to a bet of 400,000.

Negreanu potted the following button for Martirosian to call, then check-fold the Q42 flop to a bet.

Artur Martirosian raised it up to 1,400,000 on the button and Chris Frank then jammed out of the big blind for 3,450,000, which the initial raiser called.

The board ran out 743105 and Frank dodged several outs on the turn to survive, leaping out of his chair in celebration and even lifted his Starbucks cup high in the air.

"You guys are so dramatic, I love watching it," Daniel Negreanu said and Frank replied "I love watching your vlogs".

Negreanu then raised the pot to 1,400,000 on the next button and Martirosian defended the big blind. On the 1064 flop, Martirosian check-called for 1,000,000 and they checked the 8 on the turn. Martirosian led the 8 river for 3,800,000 and that sent Negreanu into the tank.

He grabbed his time banks and spread them out in front but eventually folded before needing to use any.

Frank made it 1,200,000 from the small blind and folded out Artur Martirosian in the big blind.

On the next deal, Martirosian limped in from the small blind and Daniel Negreanu checked in the big blind. Martirosian check-called for 400,000 on the J65 flop. The 6 turn checked through to the Q river. Martirosian bet 2,000,000 but snap-folded when Negreanu made it 7,000,000.

Martirosian Chips Up Without Showdown

Artur Martirosian raised it up on the button to 1,100,000 and Daniel Negreanu called in the small blind. They checked the 976 flop and J turn to the 10 river. Negreanu checked, Martirosian bet 1,200,000 and won the pot.

Chris Frank then limped the small blind and Martirosian checked to the A107 flop, which both players checked. Frank bet the J turn for 400,000 to pick up a call and checked the 2 on the river. Martirosian bet 2,000,000 and Frank was visibly pained, leaning back and tossing one time bank to the dealer before he reluctantly folded.

"You used time bank? What happened?" Martirosian said with a grin on the face.

After the hand, Negreanu asked Martirosian if he already had a WSOP gold bracelet in PLO.

"I have three Triton PLO titles and one at Aria," Martirosian replied.
