Can Martirosian Emulate Mizrachi on Day 2 of $100K High Roller PLO?
Just a few days after Michael Mizrachi put together one of the most commanding Pot-Limit Omaha performances in World Series of Poker history, Artur Martirosian has the chance to follow a similar path in Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas.
Mizrachi led the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship after Day 1, extended his advantage into an overwhelming chip lead on Day 2, and went on to capture his ninth WSOP bracelet. Now it's Martirosian who finds himself in pole position after bagging 5,815,000 chips, nearly one-fifth of the 30 million chips in play, as just 19 players advanced from a field of 50 entries in Event #78: $100,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha.
The Russian, who won his fourth WSOP bracelet in this summer's $25,000 6-Handed, holds a healthy advantage over Sean Winter. He sits second with 3,695,000 and is chasing the first WSOP bracelet of his accomplished career.
Joni Jouhkimainen, Alex Foxen, and Daniel Negreanu complete a stacked top five, while 14 of the 19 returning players already own at least one bracelet.

Late registration remains open through the end of Level 12, so the field and $4,800,000 prize pool is expected to grow before the start of Level 13.
Day 2 gets underway at noon local time on Wednesday, July 1, with Level 11 featuring blinds of 10,000/25,000 and a 25,000 big blind ante. Players are scheduled to complete 10 levels before bagging for the final day.
