Miki and Frank Get Shorter

Level 16 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu check-raised a flop of A88 from 80,000 to 225,000 and Sean Winter folded to get shown the KJ84.

Negreanu then raised the button to 280,000 and Yosuke Miki defended the big blind, then check-folded the J54 flop to a bet of 400,000.

The next limped multi-way pot was checked to the Q722 turn on which Miki bet 320,000 and Chris Frank called. They checked the 10 river and Miki showed the 9832, but was out-kicked by Frank with the J2XxXx.

Frank limped the next small blind and Robert Cowen checked to the AK7 flop, on which Frank bet 80,000. Cowen raised to 280,000 and Frank called. They checked the Q turn and Frank bet the 3 river for 270,000, earning a call from Cowen.

"Just the ace," Frank said and flashed an ace with rags, Cowen won the pot with his AQ32 for aces and queens.

Soon after that, the action was checked to the 4333 turn on which Cowen and Negreanu checked. Frank bet 105,000 and Cowen called. The 10 river brought a bet of 90,000 by Cowen and Frank raised to 375,000. Cowen reraised to 790,000 and Frank folded.
