Negreanu Has "Two Pair and Two Balls"

Level 19 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Artur Martirosian limped in from the cutoff and Yosuke Miki did so from the small blind, then Philip Sternheimer checked in the big blind. The AK4 flop was checked to Martirosian, who bet 375,000. Only Negreanu called and then he checked the 8 turn. Martirosian bet 1,500,000 and Negreanu called.

Once they checked the 3 river, Negreanu announced two pair and won the pot with the A985. When Sternheimer inquired if Negreanu had any straight draw, the latter shook the head and said "just two pair".

"Two pair and two balls," Chris Frank concluded.

The next hand saw a four-way limped pot to the 953 flop, on which Negreanu bet 375,000 to claim the pot uncontested.
