Negreanu Runs Away With the Lead
Daniel Negreanu limped in, as did Chris Frank in the small blind and Artur Martirosian checked in the big blind. They all checked the A♦8♦3♦ flop and Martirosian then bet the 10♠ turn, only Negreanu called.
Martirosian then bet the pot on the 9♦ river for 2,400,000. After short consideration and by using another time bank, Martirosian folded and tossed two of his cards towards Negreanu with the Q♦10♦ flipping over. Negreanu flashed the K♦ with a big smirk and said "big surprise".
After the hand, the trio discussed the time banks and they noticed that Martirosian had zero left while both Frank and Negreanu had sixteen.
"Am I the only one here that has to think long and you guys only click random buttons?" Martirosian joked.
Negreanu potted to 900,000 in the small blind for Frank to fold.
Negreanu then potted the button and earned two folds.
Martirosian limped the small blind and Negreanu checked to the K♥J♠5♣ flop. on which Martirosian's bet of 300,000 was called. The Russian checked the 3♠ turn and folded when Negreanu bet 1,000,000.
"You gonna disappoint a lot of people if you don't win this," Frank remarked and Negreanu replied "I am doing my best".
