Bickley Loses it All in Two Hands
Ryan Pringle was seen dragging a 1,925,000-chip pot after doubling up. According to a player at the table, Robert Bickley limped from middle position before Pringle raised to 150,000 on the button. Bickley called.
Pringle continued for 150,000 on the 7♦5♦A♠ flop, fired a second barrel of 400,000 on the 9♥ turn, and moved all in for 180,000 on the 7♠ river. Bickley check-called on every street with A♦8♣, only to run into Pringle’s set of nines with 9♣9♦.
Left with just 350,000, Bickley shoved the next hand and picked up the blinds. The following hand, he jammed again from under the gun. Deniz Oeney reshoved for 625,000 from middle position, and the other players quickly got out of the way.
Robert Bickley: 3♠3♥
Deniz Oeney: 8♣8♠
Oeney kept the lead all the way through a board of 7♣5♥9♦J♥J♦ and Bickley was eliminated.
