Wood Wakes Up With It

Level 27

78734
510QAQ

Christopher Wood had less than a single ante behind and moved all in for his final 70,000 on the flop, announcing that he had "Casino Royale." Antoine Labat called, Abdul Amer made it 450,000 to go, and Labat folded.

Christopher Wood: KJ88 All in
Abdul Amer: 101065

Wood had found a hand at the right time, flopping eights full on the top board and an open-ender on the bottom. He was in pole position to scoop, but Amer managed to boat up on the bottom to claim half the pot.

Action checked around to Abdul Amer, who bet 250,000 in the hijack. Jacob Fishbein moved all in from the cutoff for 405,000 to see both Antoine Labat in middle position and Amer call.

Both players checked the following streets down.

Jacob Fishbein: AJ54 All in
Abdul Amer: KJ86
Antoine Labat: KQQ8

Fishbein's quad fours was good on the top board, with his six-high straight being good on the bottom to scoop the pot.

Fawcett Tanks for Tournament Life

Level 26

K67QJ
6A58A

Jesse Lonis bet out into the field for 170,000 on the flop. Justin Fawcett on his left, and Paul Fehlig two seats down both paid to see the turn.

Here, Lonis slowed down with a check, and Fawcett announced "pot," for a bet of 990,000. Yet again, two opponents called, and all three went off to the river.

Lonis checked yet again, as did Fawcett, and Fehlig bet the pot, which was enough to put both of his opponents all in. Lonis quickly folded, but Fawcett didn't as he went deep into the tank.

He shook his head, buried it between his hands, and apologized to his tablemates after around three minutes of stalling. Eventually, he returned his cards to the dealer.

"You were getting scooped," Fehlig let him know.

Labat Scoops

Level 26

A4J33
79J2A

Abdul Amer bet out for 200,000 on the flop, receiving calls from both Julio Trimmer and Antoine Labat.

On the turn, action checked to Trimmer, who slid 775,000 into the middle. Only Labat came along for a call.

The river went check, check, and Labat tabled AQJ6 for a flush on top and top two pair on bottom, which was enough to force a muck from Trimmer.

Wang Chopped Up Before Final Two Tables

Level 26
Yuanting Wang
Yuanting Wang

J108J9
66547

Yuanting Wang bet 360,000 on the flop first to act to see Julio Trimmer call in the hijack. On the button, Jared Koppel moved all in for 1,530,000, and Wang called to put himself at risk for 510,000. Trimmer wasted little time putting in the call and put both of his opponents at risk.

Yuanting Wang: AQ1010 All in
Jared Koppel: KQJ9 All in
Julio Trimmer: K855

Fives-full was good for Trimmer on the bottom board, and jacks-full was good for Koppel on the top. Wang's inferior full house and overpair were no good for any part of the pot, and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Fehlig Quarters Walmsley in Massive Pot

Level 26

KJ53J
2101096

Both Paul Fehlig and Daniel Walmsley had arrived at the river, each with 150,000 in front of them from the flop betting, and 1,500,000 from the turn.

First to act, Walmsley announced, "all in," which amounted to a pot-sized non-all-in bet of 3,660,000. Fehlig went deep into the tank, and after quite some time, he stuck in the chips.

"Chop," announced Walmsley, tabling 10942 for ten-high on top and the nut boat on the bottom.

"No, I three-quarter you," replied Fehlig, tabling 10985 for the same boat but a pair of fives on top. "I was worried you had ten-nine with a better pair," he explained.

Wang Gets Half to Survive; Trimmer Quartered

Level 26

965KA
56QJJ

Yuanting Wang moved all in for 270,000 on the flop, with Jared Koppel also moving all in, and Julio Trimmer matching the wager to put both opponents at risk.

Yuanting Wang: AAQQ All in
Jared Koppel: 10987 All in
Julio Trimmer: 8772

Wang had top set of queens on the bottom, with both of his opponents having flopped the nut straight with eight-seven on top. They also had open-enders on the bottom, and Koppel had a flush draw to boot.

Wang made queens-full on the bottom for half of the main pot, with the other half split between his opponents. Koppel's flush on bottom took half the side pot, and he split the top half, leaving Trimmer with only a quarter.

Baiza Falls to Thomas and Frazin

Level 26

AK57J
662QQ

Matthew Baiza moved all in for 35,000 first to act, and Jean-Marc Thomas called in the hijack. On the button, Timothy Frazin threw out 60,000, and it was ruled as a raise to create a side pot between himself and Thomas.

Both players checked down the following two streets.

Matthew Baiza: K972 All in
Jean-Marc Thomas: 6543
Timothy Frazin: J842

Thomas' flush was good on the bottom board while Frazin's flush was good on the top. Baiza's hand wasn't enough to take down any part of the pot, and he was eliminated from the tournament.
