Merson Scoops a Monster; Closes in on 3 Milly Mark

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Greg Merson
Greg Merson

Action folded to Yenhan Chen in the cutoff who raised to 60,000, only for Greg Merson, sat on the button, to three-bet to 190,000.

Action came back around to Chen who four-bet to 400,000. Merson then five-bet all in for 1,260,000 and Chen snap-called to put Merson at risk.

Greg Merson: KK All in
Yenhan Chen: QQ

Merson was sitting pretty for a monster double up, to soar up the chip counts, and nothing changed on the 6A2 flop.

The 8 on the turn was safe as well and left Chen needing to hit a Queen to send Merson to the rail. The A peeled off on the river and Merson was shipped the monster pot whilst Chen was left licking his wounds.
