2026 World Series of Poker
Kee Fredkove potted to 105,000 from early position. Marco Johnson then repotted to 360,000 on the button, and big blind Brian Brunner flatted. Fredkove called all in for 335,000.
On the 8♠K♦9♥ flop, Brunner potted to put Johnson all in. Johnson thought for a while before folding.
Kee Fredkove: A♣6♣6♥3♥
Brian Brunner: A♦K♠J♠3♦
The K♣4♦ runout left Brunner with trips, and Fredkove with no chips.
Level: 23
Blinds: 15,000/30,000
Ante: 30,000
Action folded to Kee Fredkove on the button who raised pot to 85,000 only for David "ODB" Baker to re-pot to 290,000, from the small blind.
Fredkove instantly re-potted again which was enough to put Baker all in who snap-called.
David "ODB" Baker: A♠10♠10♣2♣
Kee Fredkove: A♦A♥J♥3♦
Baker was way behind and needed some help pretty quickly to stay alive. The dealer peeled off the flop of 2♦2♠8♠ which was just what Baker had ordered to send him soaring into the lead. Nothing changed on the Q♦ turn nor the brick 4♥ river and Baker was shipped the pot for a double up.
Andre Rieder brought it in for 85,000 from the hijack.
After Noah Schwartz called in the cutoff, Hayato Kitajima put in a pot-sized raise.
Rieder moved all in, Schwartz folded and Kitajima tossed in his last few chips.
Hayato Kitajima: A♣A♠K♥10♦
Andre Rieder: J♠10♥8♠6♥
Kitajima was ahead with the aces, but the runout of 7♠7♦Q♠9♣5♦ was to Rider's liking, as he hit a straifght on the river for the knockout.
Luiz Daniel from the cutoff with just over 400,000 chips, and Byron Hubert from the big blind with more than 1,000,000 chips were both all in preflop and covered by Hieu Luu in middle position.
Luiz Daniel: A♥K♦8♥4♦
Byron Hubert: A♣K♥Q♣10♦
Hieu Luu: 10♥8♠5♣3♠
Hubert flopped a flush draw and got there on the river in the full runout 5♦4♣2♣J♠3♣ to get the significant boost in chips. Daniel's straight on the river wasn't good enough.
Action was picked up preflop, with early position Patrick Mahoney all in for 130,000, and the three players to his left, Paawan Bansal, Matthew Mcewan, and Jason Daly all wagering 310,000 of their own chips to create a side pot.
On the 9♦9♠3♣ flop, Bansal checked and Mcewan bet out for 250,000. Daly folded, which put the action back on Bansal. He counted out his chips, counted out 250,000, then after quite some time moved all in for 660,000. Mcewan sigh-called.
Patrick Mahoney: A♠J♥4♦2♠
Paawan Bansal: 9♣8♦6♠5♥
Matthew Mcewan: K♣K♦Q♥2♦
Bansal had flopped trips, and improved to a straight on the 4♥7♦ runout to scoop the monster pot. Mcewan questioned why his opponent took that long before shoving, describing it as, "pointless." Bansal replied that he wasn't sure whether to slow-play. Either way, he won the pot.
Darryll Fish was all in from under the gun for his last 25,000, Basar Kirang called from the hijack, Sameer Batra called from the cutoff, Igor Grinevsky called from the button, Vamerdino Magsakay called from the small blind, and Kevin Branconunes checked from the big blind.
The flop arrived with 4♣10♣7♥, everyone checked to the button, and Magsakay bet 115,000. Batra was the lone caller.
Both Masakay and Batra checked the turn 5♣ and the river 10♠.
Darryll Fish: Q♥Q♦9♠2♣
Vamerdino Magsakay: 7♠5♥4♦2♠
Sameer Batra: 8♣6♥3♠3♦
Batra announced, "Straight," and collected the pot. Then stated, "Hand me that 50,000 bounty."
Five ways to a flop of J♦3♦8♣ small blind Yosefi Cohen checked to big blind Gustavo Zorilla, who bet the pot for 335,000. On his left, Hiroyuki Noda shoved for 805,000, before Dong Suh to his left rejammed.
Cutoff Antonio Carranza went into the tank, as he considered calling for his tournament life. Eventually, he folded, as did Cohen, and Zorilla stuck it in for 530,000 total.
Gustavo Zorilla: A♦8♦6♥5♣
Hiroyuki Noda: K♦Q♦J♥8♠
Dong Suh: Q♥J♠9♣8♥
Zorilla saw the dream 2♦ turn, which had him fading just a single out to scoop. The 3♠ river was clean, as Noda took down the sidepot with the second nut flush.
