Both players checked the {4-Diamonds} on the turn before the {q-Clubs} completed the board.

Dao quickly bet 20,000. Pappas snap-called.

Matt Pongrass committed his entire 84,700 chip stack preflop, and was called, after he and his opponent exchanged a series of raises.

Pongrass tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} but was in trouble against his opponent's {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}.

That is, until the board ran out {5-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, giving Pongrass the winning hand with a flush.

"This game sucks balls," his opponent remarked following the hand.

When the stacks were counted Pongrass' opponent was left with 7,400.

"You better win this," he added sincerely, following the hand.

"I plan too," Pongrass replied with a smile.
