Hinrichsen Tests Crawshaw

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With the board showing {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, and around 30,000 already in the pot, Hamish Crawshaw checked from the cutoff. Andrew Hinrichsen bet 4,000 from the button. Crawshaw called.

The {a-Diamonds} completed the board and Crawshaw checked again. Hinrichsen moved all-in for 26,000. Crawshaw thought about his decision for a minute before opting to fold.

Double Knockout Sends Dao Over 200K

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

A hand was just relayed through Ryan Bownds about how Michael Dao sent two players packing.

On a flop of {4-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-} Mladen Vukovic moved all-in. He was called by two players including Dao.

The turn brought the {3-Diamonds} and Dao's opponent moved all-in for her remaining chips. Dao called and had her covered.

Dao showed {7-Spades}{5-Spades} for a straight. Vukovic showed pocket eights and the other player showed pocket aces.

The river card changed nothing and Dao scooped up the 200K+ pot to rocket towards the top of the counts.

Roy Doubles Up

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The board showed {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and over 20,000 had amassed in the pot.

The player in middle position had a bet of 16,500 in front of him and was met with an all-in from Evelyne Roy totalling 48,100.

He asked for a count then called before both players tabled their cards.

Roy: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Roy would take down the pot with her superior kicker to see her eclipse the six-figure mark.

Stewart Climbing

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Luke Stewart limped into the pot from the hijack and was followed by both players in the blinds.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Stewart bet 2,000. Only the player in the small blind called.

Both players checked the {7-Diamonds} on the turn before the {10-Clubs} completed the board.

The small blind checked. Stewart bet 5,000. He was matched shortly after.

Stewart then tabled {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for two pair and took down the pot after his opponent mucked.

Kempson Shows the Bluff

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Corey Kempson raised to 2,500 from the hijack and was called by the player on the button.

Both players checked the {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop before the {3-Clubs} dropped on the turn.

Kempson bet 5,000. His opponent called immediately.

The {9-Spades} completed the board and Kempson instantly moved all in for around 45,000. His opponent paused for a moment before releasing his hand to the muck.

Kempson flashed his {8-Spades}{7-Clubs} before raking in the pot.

Mehta Triples Up; Takes Out Graham

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Jarred Graham
Jarred Graham

Pratik Mehta, Jarred Graham and a third player all committed their chips in holding pocket pairs.

Mehta had {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, Graham {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and the third player had {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

The flop fell {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} sending Graham to the lead with a set.

The turn brought the {10-Diamonds} which gave the advantage to the third player in the hand.

But it would be the {8-Diamonds} on the river that would improve Mehta to a straight resulting in Graham hitting the rail.
