Klatt Drops; Dono Builds

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

"You jinxed me, I lost half of it," Andreas Klatt said and added that he got it in with flush versus set and his table neighbor Petro Popovych got there with a full house.

Popovych was also involved in the next bigger hand on their tables. The flop showed {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Luis Dono check-raised out of the big blind from 1,800 to 5,200, which Popovych called. The {Q-Clubs} turn went check, check, and Dono's bet on the {7-Clubs} river for 14,700 won the pot without resistance.

Andreas Klatt

Robert Zipf, Fabrice Soulier and Marc MacDonnell have been eliminated while Ryan Hughes jumped in just before the registration closed.

MacDonnell raised to 1,800 and Andreas Klatt three-bet to 5,700 from one seat over before MacDonnell's four-bet to 13,700 was just called by Klatt. On the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} flop, MacDonnell moved all in and Klatt called instantly.

Marc MacDonnell: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Andreas Klatt: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}

The {5-Hearts} turn and {J-Clubs} river were of no help and MacDonnell headed to the rail.

In the last hand before the break on Hellmuth's table, Michael Chaffe looked up short stack Razvan Gherge for 5,000 with {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} versus {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and the board came {Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Sammut and Sotirov Among Bigger Stacks

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

More than half of the field has already been sent to the rail with 92 players out of 193 entries remaining in the last level of registration. Some of the hopefuls that started well thus far include Zhivko Sotirov and Clint Sammut. The duo clashed in a smaller pot when Sotirov reluctantly called a bet of 4,050 by Sammut on the {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds} river. Sammut rolled over {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the back door nut straight and won the pot.
