Thw Wild Ride Continues

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

Abdelhakim Zoufri could all but smile after he scored a comeback double through Pietro Errante, taking some revenge for the massive pot the duo played just a few minutes ago. Zoufri turned two pair with {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} to crack the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades} of Errante on a board of {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}.

Israelashvili and Freitez Eliminated

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante
Roland Israelashvili

Ivan Freitez doubled with {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} versus {5-Spades}{3-Spades} for 5,400 after a flop of {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop when the {6-Clubs} turn and {K-Spades} river blanked out. Back up to around 15,000, Freitez then got into a big pot with table neighbor Stephane Schmitt and turned two pair with {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} only for the Frenchman to turn over {8-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a straight on the board of {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{A-Diamonds}.

Another big name busted at almost the same time on a different table and another Frenchman was involved. Roland Israelashvili got his last 6,500 in with the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and Frederic Delval called with the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. The board came {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}{A-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Israelashvili was drawing dead on the turn on his second bullet to join the rail indefinitely for Day 1e.

Errante Doubles In Massive Pot

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante
Pietro Errante
Pietro Errante

Abdelhakim Zoufri raised to 1,300 and was called by Pietro Errante, Oliver Heidel, Cosmin Joldis and Teunis Kooij. The big blind moved all in for around 9,000 and Zoufri reshoved for around 50,000. Errante snap-called for 30,275 and that forced out everyone else.

Big blind: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Pietro Errante: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Abdelhakim Zoufri: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

The board came {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Heidel let out a "thank you" while Kooij was somewhat sad not to have gambled.

Chop It Up Some More

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Aneris Adomkevicius raised to 800 on the button and the small blind called, as did Roland Israelashvili in the big blind. On the {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop all three players checked and the {7-Hearts} fell on the turn. The small blind checked and subsequently folded to a bet of 1,000 by Israelashvili and a raise to 3,000 by Adomkevicius. Israelashvili moved all in and was snap-called.

Aneris Adomkevicius: {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Roland Israelashvili: {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The {A-Diamonds} river was already meaningless as the split pot was guaranteed.

Pop and Halleux Chop it Up

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

In a min-raised pot to the flop of {K-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}, the big blind checked as did Fabrice Halleux in the cutoff and Catalin Pop on the button. The {2-Clubs} turn and {4-Clubs} river were checked through also and the big blind mucked his cards. Halleux showed {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Pop chopped it with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. "Oh crap, I had {10-Spades}{6-Spades}," the big blind said and added "but what do I beat?"

Jelinek and Boatman Eliminated

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Petr Jelinek was all in and at risk for around 8,000 with the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and his table neighbor took the flip with {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. The board came {K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and that was it for the Czech.

One table over, Barny Boatman got his stack in with {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} against the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} of Jeff Cormier, who had just sat down for his second bullet, and the board came {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{K-Clubs} to bust Boatman. The same table also featured Sam Grafton and broke right after, Ivo Donev had busted there before as well.

Among the players to have already busted twice on Day 1e was Petr Targa, who will have to re-enter on Day 1f as of 6 p.m. local time.
