Smyrnov Puts Pressure on Do

Anh Do opened to 8,000 from the cutoff. Vladislav Donchev and Dmytro Smyrnov called from the blinds.

The 653 flop checked through to the A turn where Smyrnov bet 12,000. Only Do called.

Smyrnov fired out 160,000 on the 3 river, gunning for Do's last 122,000. After some thought, Do folded.

Nut Flush for Grubinger

As Egor Sukhov nears the million-chip mark, action at the next table saw Oleksii Kovalchuk raise to 8,000 from the button, with Marcel Grubinger defending his big blind.

Kovalchuk continued for 7,000 on the 104Q flop, and fired a second barrel to 17,000 on the A turn. Grubinger check-called both times.

Grubinger checked the 9 river. Kovalchuk quickly checked back but lost to Grubinger's nut flush with K2.

Van Putten Doubles Up with Jacks

Heads-up on a flop of 58K, Jasper van Putten on the button saw his 46,000-chip stack being called by Davit Mikhanashvili in the big blind.

Sebastian Schulze, the 23rd place finisher in the 2025 WSOP Main Event, opened to 8,000 from the hijack. David Mzareulov called from the cutoff before Paulius Vaitiekunas three-bet to 30,000 from the button. Schulze used a time bank before moving all-in for around 340,0000. Mzareulov folded but Vaitiekunas snap-called as the slighly bigger stack.

The pot was worth almost 700,000 and Schulze had one hand on it after the J75 flop. However, the A turn gave Vaitiekunas the lead and Schulze's exit was confirmed after the 2 river.
