Jaffee Puts His Opponent in a Pickle

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Jared Jaffee raised to 1,000 in the hijack and the button reraised to 4,000. The blinds folded and Jaffee called to see a flop of {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Jaffee checked to his opponent who bet 4,600 and Jaffee called.

The {j-Spades} rolled off on the turn and Jaffee checked again. His opponent fired out another bet of 11,500 and Jaffee gave it some thought before shoving all in for 43,300. His opponent asked for a count and went into the tank for three minutes before opting to lay his hand down.

Halverson Picks Off Bluff

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

In a three-way pot with 20,800 in the middle on a flop showing {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, Dan Shak in the big blind, Ren Lin under the gun, and Mitchell Halverson in the cutoff all checked their options.

The {5-Clubs} hit the turn and Shak checked over to Lin who tossed out a bet of 7,000 and only Halverson came along. On the {9-Spades} river Lin took some time before putting in a bet of 15,000 and Halverson went in the tank. After close to 30 seconds of thought, Halverson called and the cards were shown.

Lin reluctantly tabled {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of sixes and Halverson scooped the pot when he revealed {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a better pair.

Daniels Induces a Bluff from Rheem

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Jake Daniels opened to 1,200 in early position and was called by Chino Rheem a couple of seats over and Shannon Shorr in the big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Daniels continued with a bet of 2,000 which only Rheem called.

The turn brought the {q-Hearts} and Daniels fired out another bet of 2,200. Rheem still called and the {6-Hearts} on the river put four hearts on the board. Daniels checked this time and Rheem jammed all in for around 12,000. Daniels snapped him off and Rheem showed {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for air while Daniels held {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for a flush.

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Kathy Liebert
Kathy Liebert

The action was picked up when an early position player opened to 1,100 and it folded to the hijack who made the call. Kathy Liebert elected on a three-bet to 4,000 on the button and only the initial raiser made the call.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and after being checked to, Liebert continued for the same sizing of 4,000. Her opponent quickly called and the {a-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn.

Once again the early position player checked to Liebert who put the pressure on with a bet of 11,000. Without much thought, her opponent let their cards go and the pot was sent to Liebert.

Patterson's Queens Send Gonzalez to the Rail

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Carla Gonzalez and Tyler Patterson were heads-up in a three-bet pot with around 33,000 in the middle. The board read {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Gonzalez checked to Patterson who shoved all in. Gonzalez called off her last 26,000 chips and the cards were on their backs.

Carla Gonzalez: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Tyler Patterson: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Patterson held the better of the two full houses, leaving Gonzalez drawing to just two outs on the river. It was the {4-Diamonds} on the river and Gonzalez headed to the rail for now.

Cabrera Polop Spikes an Ace

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

There was a raise to 1,100 from the hijack and the cutoff shoved all in for his short stack of 6,700. David Cabrera Polop re-shoved all in for 24,300 in the big blind and the hijack called to put both players at risk.

Cutoff: {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
David Cabrera Polop: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Hijack: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Cabrera Polop spiked an ace to take the lead. The {3-Diamonds} and {5-Diamonds} runout secured the pot for Cabrera Polop who more than doubled up.
