Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Joshua Faris raised it up in early position and was called by the cutoff. They went heads-up to a flop of {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} and Faris check-called a bet of 9,000 from his opponent.

The turn brought the {4-Spades} and both players checked to the {8-Clubs} on the river. Faris slid out a big bet of 40,000 and his opponent thought for a minute before shoving all in with the bigger stack. Faris instantly mucked and saw his stack take a hit.

Powers Takes From Nordstrand With Full House

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action was three ways with 25,000 in the middle and {7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} on the board when Kathy Liebert checked from the small blind before Jacob Powers tossed out 10,000 from two seats over. Cory Nordstrand called from the button and Liebert folded before {2-Clubs} fell on the turn.

Powers tossed out 5,000 and called when Nordstrand made it 27,000.

The river was {2-Hearts} and Powers bet 5,000 once again. Nordstrom put out a stack of chips that looked like 60,000 and Powers quickly called while turning over {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for sixes full of deuces. Nordstrom tossed the losing hand in the muck.

Ioakimides Downs Wang; Other Assorted Chip Counts

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Andros Ioakimides limped in under the gun and Michael Wang shoved all in for his last 30,500 on his left. The action folded back to Ioakimides who asked for a count before calling.

Michael Wang: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Andros Ioakimides: {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} with the queen in the window but it was quickly followed by the deuce. The {10-Spades} on the turn meant Wang was drawing dead to the {j-Hearts} on the river.

Volosevich Runs Out of Chips

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Matt Volosevich was down to just 38,000 chips after the break and pushed all in from the hijack. Sam Rashid picked up a monster on the button and reraised to 70,000 which got both of the blinds to fold.

Matt Volosevich: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Sam Rashid: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and both players picked up a pair of aces but Rashid held the better kicker. The {a-Hearts} on the turn and the {k-Spades} on the river gave Rashid a full house to eliminate Volosevich.
