Blom Out

Team PokerStars Pro Viktor Blom has been eliminated, but said to the table that he will most likely be re-entering. Blom was all in on the {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} with the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} against Kevin MacPhee's {K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The turn was the {J-Spades} and river the {2-Diamonds} to send Blom to the rail.

Boat Over Boat

Grayson Ramage just had a boat-over-boat confrontation go his way to bust Tony Gregg. We didn't see when the money went in, but the board was {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} with Ramage holding {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Gregg {4-}{4-}.

Shak Out

Dan Shak has been eliminated by Tommy Vedes. Vedes had aces and Shak kings. According to Vedes, the money went in on the river after a bunch of betting and raising on every street.

The Field Grows

More names have entered the field and the clock now reads that 100 players have signed up.

Early Numbers

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

The clock now reads that 81 players are in the field and 80 remain. The one elimination was Govert Metaal. Daniel Negreanu was also eliminated, but has re-entered and is back in action.

Bonomo Folds Queens

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Eui Woong Kim fired 2,300 on the {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop after Justin Bonomo and Anton Ionel checked to him. Bonomo called and then Ionel check-raised all in for 8,600. Kim took some time and then reraised to 13,800. Bonomo folded pocket queens face up and left Kim to try and do the dirty work.

Kim held the {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} for top pair, top kicker and Bonomo was actually ahead of him, but had folded his queens. Ionel held the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for the best hand.

The turn was he {4-Clubs} and river the {J-Hearts} to give Ionel the double up. Had Bonomo stayed in, Kim would have won by hitting trip jacks on the river.
