Nick Petrangelo Eliminated

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Down to just four big blinds, Nick Petrangelo shoved from early position. Jakub Michalak went for it in the small blind.

Nick Petrangelo: {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Jakub Michalak: {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}

No help for Petrangelo on {J-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{J-Spades}, sending him to the rail.

Marcin Chmielewski Eliminated

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Marcin Chmielewski was the first player to get eliminated today but he bought back in right after to give it another try. Just now, he got eliminated again.

He was the all-in player in a pot where Diego Zeiter (under the gun) and Ali Reza Fatehi (big blind) had just 1,000 in chips in the side pot. Fatehi checked on {2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and folded to Zeiter's small bet.

With Fatehi out of the way, it was time for Chmielewski (small blind) and Zeiter to show their cards.

Marcin Chmielewski: {K-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Diego Zeiter: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

The {8-Hearts} on the turn and {3-Hearts} on the river didn't do Chmielewski hit the rail for the second time.

Buldygin Shoves Twice, Doubles

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Viacheslav Buldygin
Viacheslav Buldygin

Viacheslav Buldygin open-shoved around 45,000 from middle position and picked up the blinds and antes. In the next hand, Buldygin had around 55,000 and shoved again. This time, Nikolaus Teichert looked him up from the big blind.

Viacheslav Buldygin: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Nicolaus Teichert: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

The {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop couldn't look more beautiful, but Teichert now needed a diamond to knock out Buldygin. The turn {5-Spades} and river {J-Hearts} didn't qualify, sending the pot to Buldygin.

Carrel Busts Thorel, Doubles Chmielewski

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Marcin Chmielewski
Marcin Chmielewski

Jean-Noel Thorel opened in late position. Charlie Carrel three-bet shoved from the big blind, to put Thorel at risk, and the Frenchman called.

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{Q-Spades}, giving Carrel trip deuces to whip Thorel.

"Noooo!" the Frenchman exclaimed, smiling, before making his way to the exit.

In the next hand, Carrel raised from the small blind and Marcin Chmielewski shoved from the big blind. It was 52,000 to Carrel, who wasted no time calling.

Charlie Carrel: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Marcin Chmielewski: {K-Spades}{6-Spades}

This time, it was Carrel who had the best of it, but the underdog prevailed once again. A {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts} rundown gave Chmielewski the winner with a pair of kings.

Some Speech Play by Ahadpour

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Behzad Ahadpour opened the hijack for 8,000 and big blind Dario Sammartino called. Both checked the flop of {7-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and the {10-Clubs} hit the turn. Sammartino lead out for 15,000 with about 80,000 behind and Ahadpour raised to 30,000.

As Sammartino thought about it for a bit, Ahadpour asked if Sammartino had a flush. The latter declined: "Flush is nuts" Sammartino said, making clear he wasn't thinking about folding a flush.

"One pair is no good" Ahadpour said with a mysterious smile if we heard him correctly.

Sammartino went with it anyway and got his chips in. Ahadpour called with {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and had Sammartino drawing dead as he tabled {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. The river was of no importance anymore, exit for the flamboyant Italian player.
