Gauyacq Gets Call to Surge More

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn as the board read {5-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. From the big blind, Gilles Gauyacq bet 100,000. Jonathan Therme raised to 250,000 and Gauyacq called.

The river was the {8-Hearts}. Gauyacq quickly led with a bet of 375,00 which sent Therme into the tank. He thought it over for several moments. Eventually, clock was called and the countdown reached five seconds before Therme called.

Gauyacq tabled the {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} monster for the big pot as his surge continues.

Gabriellson Pressures Vayssieres

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Ferit Gabriellson and Nicolas Vayssieres had built a healthy pot by the time the river board read {10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Gabriellson fired out a bet of 300,000 to Vayssieres which represented almost half of his remaining stack.

After a couple of minutes of thought, Vayssieres opted to fold and preserve his stack, as players around him bust out at a rapid pace.

Guayacq Wins Big Flip

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

There was a big flip in progress for an almost million and a half chip pot.

Daniel Koloszar: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Gilles Gauyacq: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop sent Gauyacq into the lead as it came {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The turn sewed it up as the {4-Diamonds} came off to give Gauacq an impenetrable boat, the river was a meaningless {10-Hearts} and Koloszar was counted down to make sure he was covered as he was just by a hair and he went to the payouts.
