Around 6,000 was in the pot as Philipp Schieffer and Leonidas Kostagiolas went to the river on a board of 9J928.

Schieffer bet 4,600 from the big blind and Kostagiolas raised to 10,000 under the gun. Schieffer moved all in.

Kostagiolas had around 13,000 remaining and tanked for several minutes before calling. Schieffer then turned over JJ for a flopped full house and Kostagiolas mucked A9 as he headed to the rail.

Both players then checked to the 4 river, where Golinski led out for 6,000 from the small blind. Zagar quickly called.

Golinski showed A9 for ace-high, while Zagar turned over AK and won the big pot with his king-kicker.

At the same table, Eric Afriat had a rough start to his tournament as he sits with around 20,000.

Action was on the flop on a board of 554 and Daniel Zimbru checked. Artyom Smbatyan moved all in for his last 2,700 chips into a pot of 7,200. The button folded and Zimbru called. Players revealed their hands.

Maria Konnikova bet 600 from the big blind on a board of J884 and David Zheng called under the gun. Barny Boatman then raised to 2,000 in the cutoff and only Konnikova called.

Konnikova checked to Boatman on the 9 river and he bet 2,500. Konnikova then came back with a raise to 7,500.

"No fair," Boatman said as he eventually mucked after a few seconds.

"It was a good fold," Konnikova told him as she took the pot.

Japanese vlogging superstar Masato Yokosawa recently took his seat at this table, as did EPT champion Dimitar Danchev.

Sgorrano Gets Value From Monsonis

Heads-up on a board of KJQ7, Jerome Sgorrano bet 2,000 from the cutoff and Jose Manuel Monsonis called under the gun.

The river was the 3 and Sgorrano bet another 2,500. Monsonis quickly called, but mucked once Sgorrano turned over J7 for two pair to win the pot.

Castellano Finds Pair

The full board was already out and read 2867A. Tommaso Castellano led out for 3,000 into a pot of around 9,000, and Omar Hernandez was in the tank. Hernandez eventually made the call and Castellano turned over AQ.

It was a perfect river for Castellano, who won the pot as his opponent mucked his hand.
