Joseph Cheong raised to 110,000 from late position and Jason Helder flatted from the cutoff. Vasile Fabian moved all in for less from the button and the blinds folded.

The flop came down {2-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Spades} and Cheong checked. Helder fired a bet, Cheong folded, and the active player's cards were tabled.

The {7-Spades} hit the turn, giving each player a spade flush with Helder's ranking higher. The {10-Hearts} completed the board and Fabian made his way to the payout desk as the 14th place finisher.

Helder Cripples Fabian

Jason Helder opened for a minimum raise from the button and Vasile Fabian called from the small blind. The flop came {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Fabian check-called a 150,000 bet from Helder. The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and Fabian checked to Helder who bet 275,000. "All in," said Fabian after a few seconds. Helder instantly said "call" and turned over {Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the flopped flush. Fabian wasn't drawing dead as he had flopped a set with {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}. The board did not pair on the river as it was the {A-Clubs} and Helder scored the huge double up and Fabian was left with just 100,000.

Jason Helder opened for 100,000 and Kyle Arora moved all in from the small blind for 595,000. Kevin Eyster made the call out of the big blind and Helder quickly folded. Arora had {A-Spades}{2-Hearts} and was dominated by Eyster's {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. The flop came {Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} giving Eyster queens and eights. Arora would pick up a flush draw on the {4-Spades} turn but the river would be the {A-Hearts} to send him to the rail in 15th place. Eyster finished the hand with 4.8 million in chips.

Niccoli Doubles Through Talebi

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Rodeen Talebi opened to 105,000 from the cutoff only to have John Niccoli three-bet all in for 525,000 from the small blind Action came back to Talebi and he slid out a call.

Talebi showed {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades} but was crushed by Niccoli's {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. Niccoli's pocket aces retained their lead through the {Q-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{J-Clubs} board and he shipped the double up. Niccoli now has about 1.1 million to Talebi's 1.25 million.

Abdul Almagableh Eliminated in 16th Place ($22,226)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Abdul Almagableh opened to 105,000 and Kong Li called in late position. The flop came {Q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Almagableh led out for 160,000. After finding out how much Almagableh had behind Li raised to 355,000. Thinking Li had set him all in, Almagableh tossed in a stack of chips and said "I call." Once he was told that it was not all in, he said "I'm all in the dark then."

The dealer put out the {J-Clubs} on the turn and Li called and turned over {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for top two pair. "Ahhhhhhh, got lucky," moaned Almagableh as he turned over {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. The river was the {10-Spades} and Almagableh would be eliminated in 16th place. Li moved to 2.4 million in chips.

Chris Drake was under the gun plus one and opened to 110,000. Esther Taylor three-bet all in for 425,000 from the next seat over and action folded back around to Drake. He cut out calling chips only to find that his hand was dominated.

Taylor: {A-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The flop came down {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}, keeping Taylor's ace-high in the lead. That all changed on the turn, however, as the {8-Spades} peeled off and paired Drake. The {8-Clubs} gave him trips on the river and Taylor was sent packing in 17th place.

Ichiro Takahata Eliminated in 18th Place ($22,226)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Chris Drake opened for a minimum raise first to act from middle position and Ichiro Takahata made the call from late position. The two would see a flop of {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Drake led out for 150,000. Takahata put in a raise to 300,000 and Drake popped it up to 700,000. Takahata wasted no time in putting out the call.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Drake announced that he was all in for an even million in chips. He had Takahata slightly covered and the Mr. Miyagi look alike made the call turning over {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. He was in trouble though as Drake had {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. The river would be the {6-Clubs} and that would be the end of the day for Takahata who finished in 18th place for $22,226.

Drake moved to 3.85 million in chips.

Li Doubles Through Takahata

Abdul Almagableh raised to 100,000 from middle position and action came around to Kong Li on the button who three-bet all in for his last 730,000. Ichiro Takahata was in the small blind and thought for about one minute before sliding forward a call. The big blind and Almagableh folded, allowing the two to roll their hands on their backs.

Li: {A-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Li was out in front his his ace-king and it stayed that way through a {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts} run out. Li survived his all in and now has about 1.6 million in chips.

Fabian Doubles Through Helder

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Joseph Cheong opened to 120,000 and Jason Helder three-bet to 240,000. Vasile Fabian moved all in for approximately 350,000. Cheong got out of the way and Helder made the call. Fabian held {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and was ahead of the {K-Spades}{9-Spades} that Helder had. The board ran out {J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Fabian's two pair would be more than enough to secure him the double up.
