Campanello Doubles

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We arrived to find Bryan Campanello mid-tank against Alec Czitron. There was a significant pile of chips already in the center of the table and the completed board read {J-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}{A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. Campanello checked the river and Czitron moved all in for 185,000. Campanello had 176,000 in front of him, meaning this was a bet for the World Series of Poker bracelet winner's tournament life.

Campanello was in the tank for roughly three minutes before plopping chips past the betting line, signifying a call.

"Good call," said Czitron, rolling over {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

Campanello showed {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a higher two pair of aces and jacks. He was awarded the double up and now has around 590,000 in chips. Czitron, on the other hand, was left crippled at just 9,000.

Samples Busts One

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

A player was all in and at risk before the flop for roughly 125,000 against Lynn Samples. The all-in player held {K-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and was looking good against Samples' {A-Hearts}{k-Hearts}.

That all changed on the flop, however, as {5-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} hit the felt and paired Samples' ace. She now was in a dominating position and looked primed to score the knockout. Samples retained her lead through the {5-Spades} on the turn and the {J-Clubs} on the river, allowing her to scoop the pot. This victory brought her stack up to about 550,000.

Nguyen Falls to Chau

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We arrived in time to find Steven Nguyen three-bet ship for 90,000 over an open to 22,000. Action folded to Thanh Chau in the blinds and he called the all-in raise. The original raiser folded and the hands were turned over.

Nguyen: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Chau: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

Nguyen needed help heading to the flop to best Chau's aces. Unfortunately for Nguyen, the flop came down {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}, giving him little hope for survival. The {2-Spades} on the turn sealed Nguyen's fate and the {3-Clubs} finished off the board. He was eliminated from play and Chau boosted his stack to 320,000.

Nguyen Over Tong

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Three players including Khoa Nguyen and Kris Tong took a flop of {10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds} in a raised pot. Nguyen was first to act and he checked. The second player followed suit, allowing Tong to fire 50,00-0 past the betting line. Nguyen called and the second player folded, leaving the two heads up to the turn.

The dealer produced the {7-Clubs} on fourth street and Nguyen checked again. Tong checked in reply, allowing the {K-Clubs} to finish the board. Nguyen checked one last time and Tong move 94,000 forward. Nguyen tanked for about a minute before flicking away his hand. Tong took the pot and now boasts about 580,000 in chips.

Robinson Eliminated by Kauffman

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Andy Robinson, the runner up in the 2012 WinStar World Casino River Poker Series Main Event, has been eliminated from play.

On Robinson's final hand, Zach Kauffman opened with a raise to 24,000 from early position. Action folded around to a late-positioned Robinson who three-bet shipped for approximately 100,000. The blinds folded and Kauffman instantly announced a call.

Robinson: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Kauffman: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}

Kauffman's pocket aces were in a commanding position and Robinson was unable to improve on the {5-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} board. Kauffman scored the elimination and now has about 610,000 in chips.
