Staszko Stuns Shortie

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

A short stack just jammed 2,000 out of the small blind after a raise from the player in the cutoff. Martin Staszko made the call out of the big blind with the {A-Spades}{8-Spades} and the shortie only had {8-}{7-}. The board ran out dry with no hit for either player and ace high won the pot.

Tough Decision for McNeil

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

Calen McNeil had raised to 350 preflop from the hijack seat and was facing an all in from the small blind and another all in over the top from the big blind worth about 4,500. He gave up his hand and the two players in the blinds showed {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. "I had the third best hand!" McNeil said. The jacks held and the player in the small blind was eliminated.

Do Not Bluff Kitty

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

The {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} flop was already complete when Giacomo Fundaro bet 525 into a pot of maybe 1,200 chips. Kitty Kuo made a quick call and the Italian showed {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Kuo showed {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and won the pot just before the end of the level.

Lose One, Win Some Back

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

James Dempsey had just lost a hand and was all in for 2,025 with {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}. His opponent had that beat with the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} but the {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} board ran out in favor of the Brit.
