Neel Joshi
Neel Joshi

Neel Joshi was in middle position and in a hand with Steven Stout who was sat in the cutoff.

The pair were on the 245 flop with a pot of around 13,500. Stout was all in for his last 14,200 on the flop and covered by Joshi.

Steven Stout: AKAll in
Neel Joshi: QQ

Stout was hunting for the straight or an ace when the cards were flipped to save him from being eliminated from the tournament.

A 3 turn brought it in for Stout and Joshi was left to count out the chips from his stack after the dealer placed the 9 river.

Hayes Bets Big on River

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

There were approximately 30,000 already in the middle on a flop that spread out 310A.

Both players checked the flop and the Q turn.

Francis Alegado once again checked from the big blind position on the K river. Elliot Hayes was done checking, as he chose to put out a sizeable bet of 28,000.

The river proposition sent Alegado into the tank as he stressed over the decision. Alegado cut out the chips, but they never reached the middle as he instead chose to fold as Hayes dragged in a healthy pot.

Davis Shows His Set

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

In a 12,000 pot to the 5384 turn, Arvid Von Rahden checked from the big blind to Mark Davis in early position. Davis bet 7,200, seeing Sasha Mahabir call in the cutoff.

Von Rahden weighed his options for quite a while, but eventually mucked. Mahabir called to the A river, where Davis sized up to 10,200.

"That's the worst card for me," Mahabir sighed as she folded her hand.

Davis was awarded the pot, and he tabled 33 for all to see.

Jacobson and Rezaei Play a Small Pot

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

After calling William Jacobson's raise preflop, Daniel Rezaei checked from the big blind on the A710 flop. Jacobson continued for 2,200, and Rezaei stuck around with a call.

Both players checked the 9 turn before the Q completed the board. Rezaei led out for a small bet of 1,500, which Jacobson called.

Rezaei tabled 88 for a pair of eights, but it was second best to Jacobson's J10 for a pair of tens.

Not What the Doktor Ordered

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Mauro Raimondo checked from the big blind on a board of 59A2 and then faced a bet of 3,500 from Tomasz Doktor, who was under the gun. Raimondo elected to continue with a call.

The 10 paired the board on the river, causing both players to check.

Raimondo tabled 43 for a wheel, and Doktor mucked.

Generalov Dispatches of Panting

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Konstantin Generalov opened from under the gun before Wesley Panting shoved from the small blind. Generalov called to put Panting at risk.

Wesley Panting: AKAll in
Konstantin Generalov: 88

It was a classic battle between Panting's overcards and Generalov's pair, but the flop tilted completely in Generalov's favor when it fanned out 484 to improve him to a full house.

The 2 turn sealed Panting's fate, making the A river a cruel, meaningless card as he was eliminated from contention.

Le Doesn't Stick Around

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Hieu Le
Hieu Le

Hieu Le opened to 1,200 from middle position and Mahersh Selvakumaran called from the cutoff. Arman Bezhanian three-bet to 3,800 and both players called behind.

The 3Q7 flop saw action check to Bezhanian who bet 5,500 and Le called. Selvakumaran raised to 50,000 and Bezhanian took some time before folding.

Le snap called, putting his last ~15,000 at risk and the pair tabled their hands.

Hieu Le: AQAll in
Mahersh Selvakumaran: 33

Le had flopped top pair but ran into Selvakumaran's set. He stood from the table and the dealer almost pushed the chips across to Selvakumaran before dealing the rest of the cards, but then continued to deal the 9 turn.

Le didn't stick around and walked away from the table with his bag alread on his back, before even seeing the A be placed as the river card.
