Baldwin Bets Saucedo Out

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Eric Baldwin
Eric Baldwin

Eric Baldwin raised to 1,000 first to act and was called by Carlos Saucedo from directly behind for a heads-up pot.

Both players checked on the 267 flop and then Saucedo called a 3,000 bet from Baldwin on the Q turn.

The 10 completed the board and Baldwin sized up for a bet of 9,000. Saucedo grimaced and tanked a while, but eventually decided to lay his hand down — conceding the pot to Baldwin.

"Don't Make Stupid"

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Shraga Vrubel
Shraga Vrubel

Shraga Vrubel opened to 1,500 from early position before Jordan McKnight made it 5,000 from middle position. Sargon Guliana called on the button, and Vrubel made the call to make it three-handed.

It was checked to Guliana on the 5210 flop before he bet 7,000. Vrubel check-raised to 26,000, which elicited a fold from McKnight.

"You made it too much," said Guliana as he folded A10 face up.

"Don't make stupid," replied Vrubel as he showed a set of ducks with 22, much to the laughter of the table.

Chen Puts Harris to the Test

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Benjamin Harris and Danny Chen were in for 4,500 each headed to a flop, which came 452.

Harris bet 4,000 from the big blind and Chen slid a stack of chips into the middle for a raise large enough to put Harris all in for his last 36,000.

Harris went deep into the tank before taking one last look at his hole cards and announcing a fold. Chen also took a peek at his cards before sending them into the middle face down and collecting the pot.

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

With the full board reading 845KK, Sandeep Sikand bet 10,000 from the small blind, and Kenny Hallaert made the call on the button.

Sikand tabled AJ for ace-high, but it was no good against Hallaert's A8 for a pair of eights.

Pointon Eliminated by Balleur

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Gaetan Balleur
Gaetan Balleur

Arron Pointon was already all-in from the small blind and awaited his fate when Michael Gathy in the big blind bet the 8763 turn and called a raise to 10,000 by Gaetan Balleur. The 9 fell on the river and Gathy checked. Balleur bet 6,900 to isolate and Pointon said "I have the worst possible hand on this board" before he flashed his QJ.

Balleur's 1010 had rivered the ten-high straight for good measure to score the knockout.

Zehavi Pressures Alston

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Osher Zehavi opened to 1,000 from early position and saw three players call. Reginald Alston called from late position, Carlos Peixoto came along from the cutoff and Michael Bean defended his big blind.

The K75 flop saw Zehavi bet 2,400 and Alston called. Peixoto didn't stick around and neither did Bean.

A 4 turn saw Zehavi check-call a 4,000 bet by Alston to see the 6 river.

Zehavi checked the river and Alston asked for 10,000. Zehavi snap mucked his hand and Zehavi picked up a sizeable pot.

Chaffin Gets Stubborn

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

This hand was picked up on the completed board of K10629 with over 15,000 already in the middle.

James Roane checked it from early position before Jeffrey Chaffin went all in for 28,200 on the button.

Roane went into the tank as he made a significant decision, but eventually made the call to put Chaffin at risk.

Chaffin showed AJ for a rivered ace high flush. A disappointed Roane revealed he had KQ for a turned flush that was counterfeited on the river.

"I tried to push you out," said Roane.

"I got stubborn," said Chaffin as he took in the large pot.

Sutton Gets Paid After Rivering Quads

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Sean Sutton
Sean Sutton

After Brandon Estrada raised to 1,000 under the gun, Sean Sutton raised to 3,200 in middle position, which Benjamin McKevitt called on the button, and Estrada stuck around as well.

Sutton continued with a bet of 4,400 on a 107Q flop, which McKevitt called before Estrada folded.

There was no slowing down on the A turn, as Sutton barrelled for another 8,500. Undeterred, McKevitt called once again.

Sutton then loaded up a 32,000 bet and put it into the pot on the 10 river. McKevitt wasted little time in calling, only to receive bad news.

"Just quads?" McKevitt said when Sutton flipped over 1010, before he tossed his own cards into the muck pile.

No Takers for Vang

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Paul Vang got the action started with an open to 1,200 from the hijack. Martin Paugam called in the next seat over from the cutoff. Both Delmiro Toledo and Oliver Braddock called from the blinds to create a four-handed pot.

It was checked to Vang on the 3103 flop before he continued for 5,000. Paugum and Braddock both folded, while Toledo called to trim it to two players.

The A turn resulted in another check from Toledo. Vang was undeterred and bet 4,000. Toledo had had enough as he opted to fold to award the pot to Vang.

Calenzo Fares Well

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Kevin Calenzo
Kevin Calenzo

Hassan Fares opened from middle position and Kevin Calenzo raised to 3,500 from the small blind. Fares called, and the players were dealt the QKJ flop.

Both opted to check to the 9 turn and Calenzo checked again. Fares bet 3,500 and Calenzo called to get to the 4 river.

Both checked to showdown and Calenzo turned over his KJ for a pair of tens which was enough to make his opponent muck without showing his hand.
