More for Joe and Deeb

Level 29

No-Limit Hold'em

Dean Joe raised to 160,000 on the button and Patrick Mahoney defended the big blind to check a flop of Q108. Joe continued for 150,000 to earn a call and was checked to on the 6 turn. Joe now made it 425,000 to go and Mahoney snap-folded this time.

Over on the other table, the game had switched to the same variant and Shaun Deeb raised to 125,000 first to act which only Jaswinder Lally called out of the big blind. Lally check-called for 150,000 on the monotone Q54 flop, then checked the 3 turn with Deeb checking it back.

Lally also checked the 7 river and instantly folded when Deeb loaded up a bet of what appeared to be 425,000.

Patrick Mahoney raised first to act and Dean Joe in the small blind made it three bets. Blaz Zerjav in the big blind then bumped it up to four bets with 75,000 behind and earned two calls. On the first draw they discarded two each and Joe checked to Zerjav, who moved all in. Mahoney and Joe both called.

On the second draw, Joe and Mahoney took two cards while Zerjav took one. Joe bet and Mahoney reluctantly folded.

Both players patted the final draw and flipped them over.

Zerjav showed 7x5x4x3x2x for the wheel and Joe's 8x7x4x3x2x was no good.

"That is a good hand," Shaun Deeb said, having witnessed the showdown while his table was on hold.
