Soverel Triples Through Depa & Miki

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Yosuke Miki limped in from under the gun and Robert Cowen did the same from the cutoff. Jonathan Depa made it 240,000 from the button and then Sam Soverel jammed for 250,000 from the big blind. Miki and Depa called.

Soverel burst into hysterics when the dealer put out the QJ7 flop. Miki check-folded to Depa's all-in for 690,000.

Sam Soverel: A1098All in
Jonathan Depa: KKJ4

Soverel put his hand over the board, blocking Depa's view of the Q turn, and 10 river. Soverel earned the checkmark with a straight.

Soverel then let Depa see that he had been outdrawn, much to Soverel's amusement.

"You can't let him do that," Depa said to the dealer, with Soverel still laughing.

Depa's annoyance soon subsided after he took a pot on the flop against Miki the following hand to chip back up slightly.
