Frank Steals Blinds; Miki Chips Up

Level 17 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Chris Frank opened to 350,000 from middle position and folded out the table.

On the next deal, Yosuke Miki called from the cutoff before Daniel Negreanu made it 400,000 from the small blind. Jeremy Ausmus called from the big blind, and Miki stuck around. It checked to Miki on the JJ6 flop, and he bet 1,300,000, leaving him with 430,000 behind. Negreanu used his first time extension of the tournament, before folding. Ausmus followed suit. Negreanu later said he made a tight fold, ditching his aces and small flush draw.

The following hand, Frank raised to 350,000 from under the gun, and took down the pot.

Daniel Negreanu limped in from under the gun with the button in seat six. Robert Cowen then potted to 450,000 and the blinds folded, while Negreanu came along from the ride.

"I didn't come here to limp and fold," Negreanu exclaimed before the flop fell Q43. He opted to check and Cowen then bet the pot.

"I raise," Negreanu said and Cowen called all in.

Robert Cowen: KK98 All in
Daniel Negreanu: AQQ7

"Do you have diamonds? I have the fake diamonds," Negreanu added with his top set.

The 6 turn was a blank, as was the 2 river, and that spelled the end for Cowen in ninth place in the very first hand after the dinner break.

A poker player with no recorded live poker tournament results entered the $100,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha event at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) nearly for free.

Phillipp Mellon, who doesn't even have a page on The Hendon Mob, showed up with just five other players when the high-stakes tournament began. He sat down at the table to play against crushers such as Alex Foxen and Eelis Parssinen, both 2026 bracelet winners.

Artur Martirosian raised to 210,000 from under the gun and Gergo Nagy then potted to 750,000 in the cutoff. All other players folded and Martirosian called, leaning out of his chair for a second from his massage to see the stack of Nagy.

On a flop of 853, Martirosian bet 500,000 and Nagy sighed, spreading his five time banks out in front of the chips.

"Do we get any more time banks on the final table?" Nagy asked the floor and was told they'd receive another six when the final eight have been reached for the official final table.

Nagy used three time banks and then called all-in for 410,000 when the other table finished their hand.

Gergo Nagy: QQJ10 All in
Artur Martirosian: AJ62

The chip leader spiked the magic 4 turn for his straight and the 9 river sent Nagy to the rail in 10th place for $204,938.
