Level 28 : 50,000/10,000, 100,000 ante

Jeremy Kerbel raised to 275,000 from early position, Scott Ehrnstein called from late position, Sascha Pregler raised to pot for 1,250,000, and Nenad Medic moved all in for 590,000 from the big blind. Kerbel folded, Ehrnstein bet pot to put Pregler all in, and Pregler called for 980,000.

Nenad Medic: AK76 All in
Sascha Pregler: AA42 All in
Scott Ehrnstein: KQQ4

The board gave Pregler a full house with 93A96, and Medic was sent to the payout desk, while Pregler scooped a very tidy sum.

No Rescue Boat for Grinevsky

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/10,000, 100,000 ante
Wojciech Barzantny
Wojciech Barzantny

Erik Perez limp-called from the hijack, and Wojciech Barzantny raised to 400,000 on the button.

Igor Grinevsky, who was in the small blind, called pot, and raised to 1,400,000. Perez bailed out, while Barzantny paid to see the flop.

The flop hit 636, drawing a quick all-in for some 2,000,0000 in chips from Grinevsky and a similarly expeditious call from Barzantny with the covering stack.

Igor Grinevsky: AA64All in
Wojciech Barzantny: 6542

Both had managed to flop trip sixes. Grinevsky had an ace as a kicker. But Barzantny had straight and flush draws, the latter of which landed with the J on the turn.

The Q didn't deliver the rescue boat a stunned Grinevsky needed to survive.

Vitch Sends Schultzpedersen Home

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/10,000, 100,000 ante

Christopher Vitch raised pot to 350,000 from the cutoff and was looked up by Johan Schultzpedersen in the big blind.

The flop came J58 and Schultzpedersen checked to Vitch, who bet out for pot again, worth 850,000. Schultzpedersen, who had about 1,100,000 total, went into the tank briefly before he raised all in and was snap-called by Vitch.

Johan Schultzpedersen: AA44 All in
Christopher Vitch: 8833

Schultzpedersen was in trouble as Vitch had hit his set and was way ahead, but Schultzpedersen did have outs to stay alive. None were forthcoming on the 7 turn, and when the river bricked out with the 6, Schultzpedersen was sent packing.

Christopher Vitch brought it in for 280,000 from the hijack. Robert Scherer called from the button and James Chen came along from the small blind.

The flop came 4Q7. Vitch continued with 350,000. After Scherer folded, Chen raised to 2,900,000.

Vitch thought about it for a bit, then moved all in. Chen quickly made the call.

Christopher Vitch: KQ87All in
James Chen (US): Q876

Both players had flopped top two pair. The 10 on the turn gave Chen a straight draw, but the A on the river assured a split pot.
