Kabrhel Eliminates Dan Smith

The bright red cap of Dan Smith will be seen no more. Talal Shakerchi raised to 16,000 in first position before Dan Smith moved all-in for 82,000 a few seats over. The action folded around to Martin Kabrhel in the small blind and after a momentary pause moved all-in as well. Shakerchi folded (what he later said was pocket nines) and we had a showdown with the man with the red hat at risk of elimination.

Kabrhel{A-Hearts} {K-Spades}
Smith{Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}

Board: {A-Spades} {10-Spades} {6-Spades} {7-Spades} {10-Clubs}

It was all over by the turn and Smith leaves the party.

After Selbst checked, Smith bet 111,000 and then Selbst jammed for 235,000. A long, painful tank came from Smith before he finally made the call.

Selbst tabled the {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and beat Smith's {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} to win the hand and double up.
