Table 4 Chip Counts

ElkY At The River

Anton Allemann raised to 12,000 on the button and Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier defended his big blind. The flop was {A-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {3-Clubs} and ElkY check-called an 11,000 Allemann bet. The turn of {J-Spades} was checked through and then we saw the {Q-Spades} on the river. ElkY changed the betting order with a lead for 22,000 and after a quizzical look Allemann folded.

Gurtovoy Finds The Aces And Doubles Up

We joined the action with an all-in and call. Anatoly Gurtovoy was seated in the cutoff and Sorel Mizzi was seated in the small blind.

Gurtovoy{A-Clubs} {A-Hearts}
Mizzi{A-Spades} {K-Clubs}

Board: {K-Spades} {3-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {9-Clubs}

The king on the flop made the hand a little bit interesting for Mizzi, but Gurtovoy doubled up nonetheless.

Bonomo Picking Up From The Blinds

Patrik Antonius raised to 12,000 on the button and Justin Bonomo defended his big blind. The flop was {Q-Spades} {9-Spades} {4-Hearts} and Bonomo check-called a 15,000 Antonius c-bet. The betting came to a standstill after that, with the {J-Spades} turn and {Q-Diamonds} river being checked through and Bonomo picked up the pot at showdown.

Bonomo{7-Clubs} {4-Clubs}

Tony G Folds Kings Preflop, Then Busts

Tony G just went from roughly half a million in chips to out in the span of a few hands. Here's what went down.

Tony G opened with a raise to 14,000 and Patrik Antonius made the call before Justin Bonomo reraised on the button to 46,000. Tony G fired back a four-bet to 114,000 and Antonius got out of the way. Bonomo moved in for approximately 400,000 and Tony G folded the {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} face up.

Shortly after that, Dan Shak raised to 17,000 from the cutoff seat and Tony G reraised to 51,000 from the small blind. Shak moved all in for 336,000 and Tony G called. Tony G held the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and had 326,000 in chips, which meant that Shak had him slightly covered. Shak held the best of it with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}, but the flip was on.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} and both players nailed it. Tony G picked up top two pair, but Shak still held the lead with bottom set.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and an interesting card. It meant that Tony G could now stay alive with a king on the river that would cause a chopped pot. Shak stormed away from the table at this point, unable to watch the river.

The river paired the board, but it was the {10-Diamonds} and locked up the win for Shak. He returned to the table to see what happened and then collected his chips. Tony G was eliminated.

Mercier Gone

Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier's second bullet is over with. He was all in up on the feature table with pocket sevens against the two queens for Tobias Reinkemeier. The queens held up and Reinkemeier sent Mercier to the rail.

Antonius Doubles Through Shak

Patrik Antonius was all in preflop against Dan Shak. Antonius was all in for a little over 300,000 with the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Shak held the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Antonius doubled to 675,000 in chips. Shak was knocked back to 337,000.

Six-Bet Shove from Mizzi Against Selbst

After Sorel Mizzi raised to 12,000 from the hijack seat, Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst reraised to 31,000 from the button. Action folded back to Mizzi and he four-bet to 71,000. Selbst came back at him with a five-bet to 115,000 and then Mizzi jammed all in. Selbst quickly folded and Mizzi moved to over 800,000 in chips.
