Antonio Mallol Heredia raised 30,000 in early position, and Farhad Guyuron three-bet 60,000 in the hijack. The table quickly folded around to Heredia and he made the call.

The flop came 10♦9♣4♣, and Heredia check-called a bet of 60,000.

When the A♣ hit the turn, Heredia fired a bet of 255,000, and Guyuron wasted no time making the call.

When the 4♦ fell on the river, Heredia checked, and Guyuron checked back while tabling A♦Q♣. Heredia whipped his cards into the muck and the dealer pushed the pot to Guyuron.

David Lappin raised to 30,000 from early position before the player on the button put out a three-bet to 105,000. Lappin confirmed the amount with the dealer and then announced his all-in, covering his opponent's 420,000 stack. The button called and the cards were revealed.

The button would call for a queen on the 8♠4♣J♥5♥ runout, and it would finally come on the Q♥ river, much to Lappin's dismay. He doubled his opponent up and they virtually traded stacks.

The action was relayed to PokerNews after the fact. Having just been moved to the table underneath his 2011 Player of the Year banner, Ben Lamb opened the action on the button for 30,000 and Chris Battenfield moved all in for just over 400,000 in the small blind. The big blind folded and Lamb called for his last 370,000.

It was a classic flip situation, but when the board ran out 10♠5♦2♣7♥Q♠, it was the jacks for Battenfield that held up to send Lamb to the exit.

A player opened to 30,000 and got called by the hijack and Davidi Kitai in the big blind.

The flop gave 10♠K♦8♦ and it checked to the initial player who continued for 45,000. Both the hijack and Kitai called.

On the 5♦ turn, Kitai led out for 110,000 and after some thinking, only the initial player called.

The 3♠ completed the board and Kitai sent 175,000 in the middle. His opponent went deep into the tank but ended up folding after a few minutes.

Alcorn was in bad shape against Lightbourne's aces and remained so on the 10♥8♦3♦ flop. The Q♣ turn provided some outs to a broadway straight but the 8♣ river was a brick and Alcorn was sent to the rail while Lightbourne picked up a decent pot.

Auer Gets a Gift

Matthias Auer raised to 55,000 from the small blind and Joseph Druetto reraised to 115,000 in the big blind. Auer called and the flop of J♥8♠6♥ was spread across the felt.

Auer checked to Druetto who bet 110,000 and Auer still called. The turn was the K♦ and Auer checked again. Druetto ripped all in for 565,000 and Auer quickly called.

Auer made two pair on the turn while Druetto was left drawing to just a straight draw. The river was the 7♦ and Druetto was bounced from the tournament.

"Merry Christmas," one player at the table said to Auer who is now playing a stack over 3,000,000.

Sinishtaj folded and Vitch and the big blind showed down.

The big blind was drawing slim, in fact he only had one out. It did not come on the A♦ river and Vitch claimed another soul on Day 4.

Kwanghwan Park raised it up from the hijack and Jeremy Becker called in the cutoff. They went heads-up to a flop of 10♠6♥3♣ and Park continued with a bet of 30,000. Becker called and the 5♥ landed on the turn.

Park fired out another bet of 75,000 on the turn and Becker stuck around for the K♣ on the river. Park threw in a bet of 100,000 and Becker one-chipped him. Park showed 9♣7♥ for a missed straight draw while Becker held J♣10♣ for a pair of tens.

Cong Pham opened the action with a raise to 35,000 with the Q♣9♣. He was called by Jason Somerville with the J♦J♣ in the hijack, while Jonathan Dimmig came along from the big blind with the Q♦10♣.

Dimmig flopped the nuts on J♠9♠8♥ and check-called a bet worth 60,000 by Somerville, while Pham got out of the way. Dimmig check-called another 150,000 on the 8♠ turn and the 6♣ river completed the board.

Dimmig, who was hiding his face inside a hoodie and behind sunglasses, checked the third street in a row. Somerville now bet 500,000 for most of his opponent's stack. Nearly three minutes of consideration later, Dimmig sent his cards into the muck but left a decent portion of his stack.
