Williams Folds to Mat's Pressure

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

James Williams was deep in the tank with a decision for his tournament life on a board of 5710KQ and with about 20,000 in the pot.

Williams had checked from the big blind and Rusen Mat, seated under the gun, put him all in for his last 38,000.

After doing some inventory of his stack and looking back at his cards a few times, Williams elected to fold and give up the pot to Mat.

Levi Gives Up on the River

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Shahar Levi opened from middle position before Randy Bullen three-bet to 3,700 from the cutoff, and Levi called.

On the Q87 flop, Levi check-called a bet of 3,000 from Bullen.

Levi then led for 4,500 on the repeat 8 turn, with Bullet quickly calling.

The 2 river put four clubs on the board as Levi weighed his options for a while before ultimately checking, and Bullen snap-checked behind.

Shahar Levi: 65
Randy Bullen: AA

Neither player had a flush as Levi bluffed the turn with his open-ended straight draw, but gave up on a dangerous river, much to the relief of Bullen who held the winner with aces.

Rockets for Thomason

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

This hand was picked up on the flop of a raised pot with about 2,400 in the middle. Terry Thomason led out for 1,400 from early position and was called by Richard Bremer on the button.

The 6 turn did not deter Thomason, as he kept up the betting with a wager of 2,000. Bremer countered with a raise to 6,000. Thomason called to stay in the hand.

Both players slowed down with a check on the Q river.

Thomason showed AA at showdown, which was enough as Bremer mucked his hand to yield the pot to Thomason.

The K turn checked through, as did the 6 river. Chaplin tabled AQ for top pair, top kicker, which was enough to earn him the pot.
