Alexandru Gheorghiu: 9♥9♠

Alexandru Gheorghiu: 9♥9♠
Karrim kept the lead all the way through a board of Q♥6♦8♥7♦Q♠ and doubled up.
Gabriel Post raised to 1,300 from early position, and Marco Meisser in the cutoff made it 4,000 to go. The blinds folded, but Post made the call.
The flop came 8♠10♣J♠, and Meisser kept up his aggression with a bet of 2,000, which Post just called. The 9♦ came on the turn, and Meisser bet again for 4,000, then Post called again.
The 6♠ on the river saw Post lead all in for 22,000, Meisser then asked for a count and folded once the dealer confirmed.
Rafael Perescaliman opened to 1,000 under the gun and was called by William Saunders in the hijack, Kevin MacPhee in the cutoff, Christian Roberts on the button, and Steven Kyler in the big blind.
No less than five players saw the 8♥7♥2♣ flop as it checked to MacPhee who bet 2,500. Roberts folded before Kyler check-raised to 6,000. The others folded but MacPhee wanted to see another card.
The 2♥ turn completed the flush and paired the board as Kyler instantly announced all in. MacPhee asked for a count, which was determined to be 41,600. Over a minute would roll off the clock before MacPhee begrudgingly let his hand go, and Kyler dragged the pot without showdown after his massive jam got through.
Hong Sun raised to 1,100 under the gun, which both Daniel Iachan and Andrew Martin called from the cutoff and big blind.
There was no betting on the 8♦3♦2♠ flop, taking the three to a 6♦ turn. Martin checked again, but Sun bet 3,200 this time. Iachan folded, but Martin called.
Martin switched it up on the Q♠ river, leading out for 7,500. A curious Sun called, but when Martin tabled A♦Q♦ for the nut flush, Sun mucked his cards.
Kilian Pousset opened to 1,100 from under the gun before Omri Ben Zaken made the call on the button.
Faraz Jaka called out of the small blind, and Claudio Di Giacomo joined the party with a call out of the big blind.
All four players checked through the 6♣J♠7♠ flop and the A♣ turn to bring the 7♦ river.
Jaka checked before Di Giacomo fired 4,000. It folded back around to Jaka, who wasted little time making the call.
Di Giacomo showed 7♥3♥ for trip sevens, Jaka chuckled as he tabled 8♣7♣ for trip sevens also as they chopped up the pot.
Angela Gelinas open-shoved her last 7,700 from middle position. Joshua Shapiro called in the cutoff, after which the action folded to Alexander Semaan in the big blind.
Semaan put in a three-bet to 18,500, only to see Shapiro instantly move all in for 46,700. Semaan snap-called with the covering stack.
Angela Gelinas: A♣Q♥
Joshua Shapiro: 2♦2♣
Alexander Semaan: A♠K♥
The 6♣6♦8♣ flop provided counterfeit outs for Gelinas and Semaan, but Shapiro's ducks held on for dear life on the J♥ turn and 3♦ river to scoop the pot.
Gelinas said her goodbyes to the table, while Shapiro doubled to a six-figure stack.
Simon Wilson checked from the big blind on the 7♥6♠7♣ flop, and Vicente Julia fired 1,000 from the cutoff. Wilson check-raised to 3,000, and Julia called.
Both players checked the 10♦ turn before the 9♥ completed the board. Wilson led out for 7,000, and Julia instantly folded.
This hand was picked up with approximately 5,300 in the middle on a flop that read 2♠4♥5♣.
Molichisa Ngeth checked from early position before David Gavri checked from the cutoff. Xiaojun Mao opted to bet 3,500 on the button in response.
Ngeth pounced with a check-raise to 11,000. Gavri folded before Mao gave it some consideration.
Mao opted to fold to the aggression from Ngeth as Ngeth took the pot on the flop uncontested.
Raul Celaya got his stack of around 17,000 into the middle from the button, and Mohamed Mohamud looked to send him to the rail from the small blind.
Raul Celaya: A♥K♥
Mohamed Mohamud: A♣K♣
With both players holding the same hand, a chopped pot looked the most likely outcome. However, those odds shifted heavily in Mohamud's favor after the 8♣8♦2♣ flop gave him a flush draw.
Celaya jokingly pleaded with the dealer not to put out a club, perhaps hoping reverse psychology would do the trick.
It looked to work as the remaining board ran out K♠7♥, and the pot was chopped.
