The action was picked up on a board of 3♣5♠5♣6♥8♦ with 33,000 in the pot and Anton Johnson in the big blind betting 22,000.
Igor Popyk under the gun went deep into the tank and eventually raised all in for approximately 80,000. Johnson went into the tank as well but ultimately folded.
There was approximately 13,000 in the pot on a board that read 6♣A♣9♠A♦. Leo Worthington-Leese opted to bet 7,000 from early position before Aurelie Reard came along with a call from the cutoff.
Both players slowed down with a check on the 7♥ river.
Worthington-Leese had the winner as he showed A♠2♠ for trip aces as Reard mucked her hand.
Aaron Schlegel had just taken a huge hit after running into an opponent set on the flop, and loosing most of his chips.
Shortly after, Andro Scarpa opened from middle position and Schlegel moved all in from the hijack for his last 2,100. Scarpa called the change and the pair went to showdown.

Schlegel was hoping to hold to get a second shot in the main event, and the low 8♦5♥5♣ flop kept him ahead. There was no real sweat as the 2♠ was turned and the 6♠ river saw to Schlegel's double up. He got a near triple up in chips after also collecting the blinds.
Oleksandr Kandyba was down to just a few blinds, which were committed from the small blind against Yuki Ito in the hijack.

The 5♠3♥8♦9♦K♣ runout brought no improvement for either player, sending Kandyba to the rail.
Steven Stout opened to 1,200 from late position and Mario Ruiz three-bet to 2,800 from the cutoff. Aaron Schlegel called from the hijack and Stout topped up to call.
The 5♠8♠Q♦ flop saw action check to Ruiz who bet 4,500. Schlegel raised to 10,000 and Stout snap-folded. Ruiz moved all in for 19,800 and Schlegel took some time before making the call.

Schlegel stood from the table not realising who covered who as he thought he was at risk of elimination. Ruiz had flopped a set of queens and was ahead. The 7♣ turn didn't change much and the 7♥ river locked up the double for Ruiz.
Schlegel was down to just 2,100 chips after the hand.
Hyeungill Lee opened to 1,100 from early position before Cleveland Richards three-bet to 2,300 from the next seat over. Robert Murphy called from the big blind, and Lee also came along to create a three-handed pot.
The 6♦3♣2♠ flop led to a check from Murphy. Lee took the initiative with a wager of 2,500, but Richards had other plans. Richards opted to re-raise it to 25,000 even. Murphy bowed out with a fold.
Lee gave it some considerable thought before he yielded the pot with a fold to award the pot to Richards.
William Krackomberger opened to 1,300 from under the gun before Richard Schuler called out of the small blind, and Douglas Benitez came along from the big blind.
The J♥8♥5♣ flop led to a bet of 1,400 from Schuler. Benitez made the call, but Krackomberger folded.
The A♥ turn led to a check from Schuler. Benitez wagered 2,500, and Schuler made the call.
Benitez kept up the betting on the K♠ river with a bet of 4,000. Schuler gave it some thought before he put in the call to go to a showdown.
Benitez showed K♥10♥ for a turned flush. Schuler did not show as Benitez took it down.
James Pillon jammed for 5,400 from under the gun, and Brian Hunkins called in the hijack. Yongjae Lee then three-bet to 30,000, and after some thought, Hunkins made the call.
With Pillon already all-in, Hunkins checked the 3♦5♣J♣ flop, and Lee immediately moved all in for his remaining 39,200. Hunkins went deep into the tank before reluctantly folding.
