Marashlian was in pole position but still had to dodge some outs to stay alive. The dealer rolled out the flop of 3♦3♥10♦ and it changed nothing. The 8♣ turn didn't give Marashlian any issues either and when the river bricked out with the 4♦ his queens held firm and got him a monstrous double-up.
After doubling up through Toby Price a short time earlier, Radoslav Stoyanov was all in for 6,600,000 and at risk against Price once again.

Stoyanov found the help he needed on the 2♣7♣A♥3♦7♦ board, hitting his ace to double through Price for a second time.
"I can't seem to kill you," joked Price and Stoyanov collected the pot.
Mauro Sosa raised to 2,000,000 in early position, and Greg Feirman looked at his cards in the big blind before announcing all in for 5,900,000. Sosa made the call, and saw the bad news.

Feirman faced no danger on the 9♥K♠10♠4♣3♣ runout, as it was his turn to double next with pocket aces.
James Murphey opened to 2,000,000 in the cutoff, and Deniz Oeney moved all in for 6,100,000 on the button. Action folded back around to Murphey, who made the call.

Terry Kocher had just been explaining that, despite being down to only two big blinds, he had managed to survive long enough to reach another pay jump and planned to hold on to those chips until he found a hand worth risking it all with.
That opportunity came when Yibo Song opened to 1,600,000 from middle position. When the action folded around to him in the small blind, Kocher decided it was time to make his stand. Song called and took him to an all-in showdown.

Kocher stood up ready to leave after he saw what Song held. But then the flop came A♥6♣9♥ pushing him in the lead with a set. Everybody teased him making him sit back down.
As he sat, the dealer peeled a 10♣ turn. Craig Varnell who was at the table, teased him once again, and said, "That's because you sat back down."
The dealer completed the board with a K♦ river, sealing Kocher's fate to finish in 17th place.
Radoslav Stoyanov raised all in under the gun for 11,200,000. Action folded to Steven Saklad in the cutoff, and he moved all in for less.
Mauro Sosa joined the party from the big blind with the second-biggest stack of the three.

Everyone got a piece of the A♠10♣2♣ flop, but Sosa's set of tens were tops and it got better with the turn and river coming K♣K♦ to give him a full boat.
Toby Price raised to 1,600,000 in middle position, and called when Radoslav Stoyanov moved all in from the small blind.

Once the cards were tabled, Helmig got on her feet ready to leave then the flop dropped Q♥K♥6♣. She went, "Oh!" and stayed to watch the deal standing up.
The turn produced a 4♠ with no consequence. Then the dealer peeled another Q♣ on the river to give her trips, at which point, she sat back down on her seat to scoop the pot for a double-up.
