2026 World Series of Poker
The remaining nine players are on a one-hour dinner break. Play will resume at the Paris feature table at approximately 9:45 p.m. local time.
Yoon Kim moved all of his 10,000,000 chips into the pot from the hijack. Michael Moncek, in the big blind, made the call.
Yoon Kim: 6♠6♥
Michael Moncek: 4♥4♦
Kim's advantage was short-lived, as the flop hit 5♠K♥4♠, giving Moncek a set. After the turn and river Q♠5♥, Moncek had a full house and the knockout.
Toby Price raised from the cutoff to 3,600,000 only for Greg Feirman sat on the button to three-bet all in for 11,500,000. Action came back to Price who went into the tank for a good while before he made the call to put Feirman at risk.
Greg Feirman: 10♣10♠
Toby Price: A♥3♥
A safe flop for Feirman came of 9♠6♥J♥ but it gave Price additional outs for the flush. However the A♣ peeled off on the turn and gave Price his pair to take the lead. No ten for Feirman on the A♦ river and he was sent to the rail in 11th place.
James Murphey moved all in for 9,300,000 on the button, and Toby Price made the call in the big blind.
James Murphey: K♦Q♠
Toby Price: A♦7♥
Murphey was behind until the 6♦K♥5♥ flop, connecting for top pair to gain the advantage. Price could not improve on the 10♥ turn or 4♣ river, as Murphey earned the double-up.
Mauro Sosa limped in the small blind, and James Murphey checked his big blind option to see the 7♦8♣8♥ flop. Both players checked to the J♥ turn, and another pair of checks led to the Q♣ river.
Sosa led out for 1,500,000, earning a call from Murphey. Sosa tabled Q♦4♣ for a pair of queens, with Murphey showing some frustration as he mucked his hand.
"Three outer," claimed Murphey as Sosa raked in the pot.
Action folded to Jinghan Yan in the hijack who moved all in for 9,100,000 only for Mauro Sosa sat in the cutoff to three-bet all in for more. The rest of the table folded faster than a rabbit on roller skates.
Jinghan Yan: A♣7♠
Mauro Sosa: 9♦9♣
Yan was way behind but could still hit his ace to stay alive or some miracle other combinations.
The flop came 3♠6♦K♦ and changed nothing along with the 10♠ on the turn. No Barry Greinstein for Yan on the J♥ river and he was sent to the cage in 12th place.
Yoon Kim grabbed his cards and told the dealer, "I need some help."
Then he looked at them and said, "Ok, next time."
On the next hand, Kim raised all in from the hijack for 5,300,000 chips. Michael Moncek, who was the big blind, was the lone caller.
Yoon Kim: J♠J♦
Michael Moncek: 5♣5♠
Kim was sitting pretty with the bigger pair and when the full board was tabled 10♣8♦A♦6♦Q♦, the running diamonds gave him a flush and double-up.
Craig Varnell opened to 3,500,000 in late position and Michael Moncek in the cutoff shoved for 11,400,000. When action went back to him, Varnell threw in a chip for a call.
Michael Moncek: A♣10♦
Craig Varnell: K♦Q♥
Moncek was looking at a potential double-up when he hit the 10♣6♥3♥ with a pair. The J♦ turn gave Varnell more outs to improve but the 10♥ fell on the river, giving Moncek trips and a much-needed double-up.
