The 12 remaining players have been sent on a 15-minute break.
In a hand that extended into the break, Craig Varnell raised to 3,000,000 from the hijack. Benjamin Ector considered what to do from the big blind.
"I'm not folding, Ben," Varnell said.
Undeterred, Ector moved all in with just under 10,000,000 chips. Varnell, indeed, made the call.
Benjamin Ector: A♦4♦
Craig Varnell: 10♣7♣
Ector was in good shape through the flop 3♠2♣3♦, but the turn and river of K♣Q♣ brought a runner-runner flush for the elimination.
Benjamin Ector was forced all-in in the big blind with only 900,000 chips. Fabian Niederreiter on the button limped for 1,200,000. Spencer Gore in the small blind folded leaving the two remaining players to head to showdown.
Benjamin Ector: K♦J♥
Fabian Niederreiter: K♣10♦
Ector had Niederreiter dominated and stayed in the lead through the runout of A♣4♠8♦7♠4♣. Ector survived to be able to go all-in a few hands later and quadruple up.
In hijack, Ector shoved his 2,800,000 chips and got three callers in Yibo Song on the button and the blinds, Craig Varnell in small and Niederreiter in big.
The flop came 9♥3♥6♦. After two checks, Song fired 2,000,000 that got the two blinds to fold.
Benjamin Ector: 10♥10♠
Yibo Song: A♦6♠
The moment the hands were tabled and Varnell saw Ector was ahead with his tens, he fumed and said to Song, "Dude, what are you doing?"
The dealer continued with a 8♥ which gave Ector an opportunity to improve. At this point Varnell was already pacing looking absolutely frustrated.
The dealer completed the board with a 5♥ giving Ector a one-card flush prompting Varnell to say, "I had a King of Hearts." Song defended his bet at this point as the dealer pushed the pot to Ector, who was just so happy with luck.
Shant Marashlian was all in and at risk against Mauro Sosa on his immediate right.
Shant Marashlian: A♠K♠
Mauro Sosa: 9♠9♦
Marashlian was flipping for his tournament life, and unable to find help on the J♦Q♦2♦6♥Q♥ board. That saw Marashlian hit the rail in 14th place, while Sosa and the rest of the field hit the latest ladder.
Jinghan Yan shoved all in from the button with his last 5,400,000 chips. Shant Marashlian made the call from the big blind.
Jinghan Yan: Q♣Q♠
Shant Marashlian: 7♣7♦
Marashlian's hand was crushed by the overpair and the runout K♣10♣10♦J♦2♥ provided no help.
This marked the second time he has doubled a player up from his big blind, and he has lost some 20,000,000 chips since a table change one level prior.
After getting a trio of shoves through on the previous three hands, Benjamin Ector moved all in again for 16,500,000 in the hijack. Fabian Niederreiter made the quick call for 15,600,000 in the big blind, and was at risk.
Fabian Niederreiter: K♠K♥
Benjamin Ector: 10♣10♥
Niederreiter held through the J♣2♥Q♦3♠A♦ board, earning the big double while leaving Ector with less than a big blind.

James Murphey shoved all in in middle position for 14,700,000. Jana Helmig did her own jamming for 12,000,000. When action folded around, the two remaining players went to showdown.
Jana Helmig: A♣K♣
James Murphey: A♦J♠
Murphey got on his feet and said, "I'm using my one time now." And repeated it as if making a request to someone. The flop then came 2♠3♦J♦ pushing him the lead. He watched as he fidgeted on his feet unable to stand still.
No help came for Helmig on the 2♦ turn. Murphey cheered when the J♣ river gave him trips and a chance to continue his run.
Shant Marashlian had barely turned his new chair around so he could sit with it facing backward when he was faced with an all-in from Toby Price in the hijack.
In his first hand at a new table, Marashlian defended his big blind with a call.
Toby Price: J♣8♠
Shant Marashlian: A♦4♣
The runout went extremely well for Price from the start, as he flopped trip eights and took a double-up though the full board of 8♥8♦A♠4♥Q♠.
"Jack-eight, really?" a stunned Marashlian said.
